Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Splint, Right Small 6" to 7"

UPDATE: now 5 stars!I ordered another brace for me (last ones were for my mom) and the new one came sewn all the way around the strap! This brace is now perfect. Mom isn’t too happy that hers (received just a couple weeks ago) were not sewn around the strap like old ones I have. MAKE SURE yours are or return them for exchange! It makes a big difference in durability and how long it will last.We have tried several brands of thumb braces. This is by far the most comfortable and least intrusive. Easy to wear all day. Unfortunately, the long strap that wraps around the thumb and velcros is only glued together so it stretches and comes apart too quickly. It should be sewn all the way around. The next one I buy I will sew myself before wearing.

Have only had it a couple of days but the quality of the material and construction is quite impressive. It fits perfectly and has been very comfortable to wear.

05/17/2024 Update this one was not stitched on the strap and has come apart. The right hand one I purchased is fine there is stitching on the strap that holds it on. Looks like there is a quality issue. 01/2024 Love these. They provide soft gentle support without metal or wires. Hands feel safe and protected yet still mobile enough to do things. Has really helped reduce the pain. Thank you! Thank you!

In a serious fall, I broke my arm in two places. Both lower arm bones the ulna and the radius were damaged, with the radius broken right at the junction of my wrist and my thumb. I also fractured some ribs and got a small brain bleed where my head hit the concrete. Everything healed well except for the thumb, which has stayed painful even months later. After therapy with a hand and arm specialist, the base of the thumb is still painful, especially when I try to hold something big like a large can of food or try to open cat food and other pop-top cans. Both the ulna and the radius were damaged, with the radius broken right at the junction of my wrist and my thumb. The therapist said that arthritis was complicating the already-painful break. When she recommended this thumb brace, as soon as I tried it the thumb felt better. This brace is flexible, but it holds my hand in the right position and keeps it from being irritated even when I reach and grab something. I give it five stars.

It's easy to put on still let's me knitting without difficulties. Best part no pain.

The Velcro is extremely stiff making it difficult to wrap around my wrist uncomfortable to wear. The Velcro has snagged my clothing on multiple occasions, pulling threading out and ruining a couple shirts. On the plus side, my thumbs have improved. But I am in search of a different style using no Velcro.

They don’t last forever, but they are helpful. I wish they came in other colours, skin tones, so they were less obvious.

Not only is it well constructed, but it immediately relieves pain to the CMC joint (thumb) when in use.

I bought one splint 4 months ago but the the sticky joint is no longer sticky any more. The strap comes off easily all the time. The splint is no longer working. Does the product have any warranty? I cannot find warranty info anywhere. If not, could you send me a free replacement since I got this one only 4-5 months ago? I am aware you are just a distributor, not the manufacturer. But the philosophy is that if I buy a product that has defects from Walmart, I go to Walmart for change or refund; I do not have to contact the manufacturer in this regard.

Very happy, it's light fits great and provides the perfect support for my thumb. I'm trying to find the same one, but for the left hand, but I can't find one, so I had to contact the seller??

My sister had bought these from the hospital as that is what they recommended and so glad I found them on amazon. I'm glad I could try hers on first so I knew correct size as they are really work!!!
