This is the first raised food bowl I've tried, and it does the job. I have two cats, and one of them really loves it. My other cat is a big guy (22 lbs and tall) with a wide head and long whiskers, and he has a little trouble with the smaller drinking well. While I have had no problems with it, it could be a little heavier which is why I took off a star. Bottom line? If you want to try a raised, tilted bowl and don't have a giant cat like mine, it is a good one to try, especially for the money.

All frenchie or bulldog owner needs this. No more helping him to eat! His face fits in the bowl and can pick up food with no trouble. I been searching for an elevated, tilted and large enough bowl for my 25 pound french bulldog who struggles to pick up his food due to short snout. The bowl holds in place and he's a messy eater and it left nothing out. Wish it was a little taller but overall very happy and hope it'll hold up. Update: water bowl is too small and the dispenser is in the way when he drinks water. So I had to remove the dispenser, but still has the hole for water and he's able to drink.

The bowl is just right for a one-cat family and the tilt on the bowl is also just right for my kitty. On first approach, he noticed his food bowl was different, but he took to it immediately. It does not take too much room in his lunch area, has a clean look to it and fills all my needs (and Louie's, too).

I got this because it’s too cute! My ONLY complaint would be that the base is made out of a cheap plastic so there no weight holding it down once the water get low. definitely wouldn’t stop me from buying again though!

I bought this for my cats to keep them from waking me up at night when they felt their bowl was too low on water. The idea is good, but at least in this incarnation its a bit small for a medium cat. It was fairly light so one of my cats almost knocked it over in her traditional "bury" routine she does pawing around the dish. I would say this would be perfect as a travel feeder, or for a smaller animal like a ferret.

While the design is good, the materials don’t caught up. First, it made of plastic. So be prepare of fur sticking all over and it will have weird moldy smell if you don’t clean it often. Second, I like the water design because of my cat like to knock over the water bowl everytime he drinks. But the water basin is a little bit small and when the water basin got dirty, I have to change the water bottle along.

I think that for the price this is a great product. I like it because it’s simple and modern looking but has the cute cat ears for a decorative touch. Another reason I ordered it is for the self-filling water feature. The food bowl part moves really easily because it isn’t actually attached so if your cat like to knock things around it could potentially be messy. But like I said, for the price it’s a great product and it works like it’s supposed to and looks cute all the while. Also it shipped really fast.

So It doesn't seem like the actual food bowl is elevated any differently from the normal ones, but maybe it is, I just can't tell. It is cute though and super easy to clean.
