I love them but shades vary a bit.
I just moved into an apartment with an open floor plan and I have a new puppy. I could hear my neighbor cough and even snore. I stagger black and grey over my door and behind my headboard (in bed is where I would hear the most noise). I’m surprised how quiet it is in my apartment!! I’m hoping she hears less of me as well. :)I put them up with command strips and it was quick and easy little project. The only complaint is that I ordered two packs of grey and two packs of black and as you can see in the photo, one pack is noticeably darker. It’s not a huge deal but it was disappointing. Very nice looking and otherwise happy with the purchase. Would still consider buying more, but I may just stick with black! :)

Easy to install and reduced sound levels
Installed on most of the inside of the door to our furnace closet. Initially cut with utility knife, but EMT shears worked better. Even without covering the entire door, it reduced sound outside the closet by about 6 db.

Nice Tiles - A Few Tips for Installation
These tiles perform as advertised. They aren't going to eliminate sound entirely, but they do mitigate sounds to much more tolerable levels. I'm using these in a small home studio and for that purpose, they are good. A few notes:• As a previous user mentioned, one-pack of 24 tiles wasn't enough to cover a standard bedroom door. I needed a total of 27 tiles to get full coverage.• Cutting the tiles was done by using a fresh razor and cutting on top of another tile. The "fresh" is important here. A dull razor will lead to frustration galore!• Mounting: double-sided tape does not adhere to the tiles themselves all that well. What I did was cut four small squares of double-sided tape (I used 3M) for each corner of the tile. I then peeled off the tape and put 1 or 2 1/4-inch staples through the tape using a staple gun. Be sure they are 1/4 inch (or smaller) staples. These are a good size to go through the tape and tile, but not poke out. Once stapled in, mount to the wall - double-sided tape DOES stick pretty well to wood doors, drywall, etc.A caveat: if you have indents on a door or will be layering tiles, longer staples that DO poke through are a good idea for the bottom layer. Remember, the tiles don't adhere well to one another with tape (glue might work).• I paired the door I soundproofed with some basic weatherproofing strips to further reduce sound on the sides and at the bottom. The upshot is that normal TV sounds and conversations are just about unheard in my room. I think if I finish the joining wall itself with tiles, that would eliminate all outside noise.I hope these tips help!

I would purchase again, despite being initially skeptical.
These panels are a great price, I was initially skeptical about any of these realistically working or having any benefit; however after placing them I am pleasantly surprised and I'm very happy with the noise reduction. I actually need to order another batch because the two packs I purchased were not enough to cover a single door however 2 1/2 pack should be sufficient. I have an attached Airbnb private room that I rent out with a separate entry, so this will be a nice added benefit. keep in mind that you pretty much have to cover the entire door to get any benefits and you have to keep your expectations realistic you will still hear noise but it will be a reduced amount of noise.

Undecided at this time. May be worth purchasing.
A variety of issues were present in one of our orders: panel discoloration; texture differences on the ideal backside; texture differences also on the frontside; and squares do not appear to be cut squarely. In addition, I used 3 M double sided tape and the panels gradually one by one fell off the door. Not ideal while sleeping. Easy to cut and look ok on a bedroom door, not great but ok. Very little odor. I’m happy they are not covered in nasty flame retardant. I ordered another set and hope they are better. The small batch I ordered was fine. I’m hoping to reduce noise into our daughters bedroom with these and weather striping. I will order a different adhesive and hope that solves the sticking issue. If not, off to filling in the hallow door with spray insulation. Or just buy a solid wood door. Warmth rating here makes no sense so low number given. I’m not sure how to compare thickness. Seems like a rating for noise reduction would be appropriate. I’m not able to report on it due to lack of adhesion. I suggest the seller make strong adhesive recommendations for various surfaces so the buyer experiences success the first time.

NOT FLAME RETARDANT!
Quite combustible actually. This was advertised as flame retardant and "safe for all" the only thing safe about it is well it isn't. The thing goes up like tinder at the first sign of some heat and while it burns it puts off a nasty black smoke. Don't put this on your walls. It could mean life or death in a house fire. Also, It will dull a razor blade very quickly and it isn't very sound absorbent.
