Derailer failure after first time out on the bike.
Despite the negative reviews I loved the style and design of this bicycle so I bought it anyway. It was comfortable and the perfect teal color that I'd been looking for. I got to ride it maybe a mile and a half. Everything seemed to be working perfectly. Until the bad reviews became my reality. Preparing for the hill ahead I was down shifting one gear at a time until I got between 2nd gear and 1st gear when the chain came off and the derailer became lodged in the spokes. I gently tried to remove it from the spokes so I could walk the bike home and the derailer just fell apart. Not sure how to contact the seller. I really hate to send the whole bike back if I could get this part fixed. Disappointed for as much as I paid for it. Brand sticker was damaged in shipment but I tried to overlook it since everything else seemed to be okay...guess not :(Update: Still no contact from Amazon however I took the bike to local bike store who was able to put new derailer on it for $25. So at an extra expense but at least I can ride it again.

Great bike!
I'm not sure why so many people were disappointed in this bike unless they didn't assemble it properly. I purchased mine back in 2016, and it's still going strong 3 years later! It survived being accidentally hurled by a mover into a dumpster when we were moving, and then it survived being fished back out and packed into a moving truck to haul from VA to TX. And it's been used plenty since then. I absolutely love it! I'm only 5'3", and I've never had a bike that fit me so well. It's so comfortable to ride, and the seat does not make my pelvic bones ache. I didn't even need to add a gel seat topper. It's perfect just the way it is! Now I will say that it has the flimsiest fenders I've ever seen on a bike. But once you get them adjusted so they don't rub the tires, it's not a problem. And the basket is really handy. I wasn't sure I'd use it, but I often pack a book and my lunch and ride to the neighborhood lake/park to enjoy some sunshine in the spring and fall.

Look elsewhere for something better
The derailer broke off on the first ride around the block. Please, look elsewhere for a bike.EDIT: Amazon shipped me a new bike and this one won't even allow the peddles to turn without the gearshift getting stuck in the bike spoke and coming to a complete stop. WORST AMAZON PURCHASE EVER.

Great comfort cruiser for paved bike trails
Yes, yes, yes! Buy this bike! Great comfort cruiser for paved bike trails. I've put a couple thousand miles on mine since I got it late Jan. I haven't ridden a bike since I was a kid, this bike makes me feel like I'm 12 again. A little on the heavy side but I really enjoy the ride and the seat it comes with is relatively comfortable. This is a good first bike for beginner cyclists.

Nice ride for the money
Nice bike. Assembly was a bit tricky. The brake assembly was a challenge to get correct. The wheels do not spin true which was part of the brake placement issue. Overall nice bike. Light with good comfort. My wife is 5'6" and it fits her well. Easy to ride once gears were adjusted to go through all gears instead of just 6. The box was damaged when received so I think they may have gotten git during shipment.

This is an Okay product, looks nice but the quality of the bike itself is the same as the price. I retuned it after I tried putting it together for some time and didn't feel safe enough to ride it.

Don't Buy This Bike
This bike arrived with the gear bent so badly it was all the way through the spokes on the wheel making the bike completely unusable. We didn't notice it until we had taken the time to put much of it together so now we have to try and repack it to reship. Save your money and buy local - its just not worth the hassle.

Should of Never Bought This Bike
I have no idea if this bike is nice or not. I have ridden it once for about 5 mins, when the derailer came off the bike. Luckily my daughter got off her bike to help me out and find a spring that was also part of the inside of the derailer. I can find very little info on how to put it back together, and if I want someone to fix it I have to take some of it apart to transport it. Right now it is laying on my garage floor and has been there for weeks now.The directions for putting it together was not the greatest but manageable.
