Building Essential Writing Skills: Grade 1

I like this series because it addresses issues not usually touched upon in a typical writing workbook.

I really love this book. My daughter is a 2nd grader who is a little bit behind so I got this book to catch her up to where she needs to be. She only likes to do things if she finds it interesting and she get distracted easily. This book has held her attention very well. She loves these book.The books are divided by lessons only 6 of them. There are quite a few worksheets for each lesson, with a little introduction at the start of the lesson. I usually make 1 lesson last a week or so. So that we work a little bit each day on 1 concept. We have seen a big improvement. I am moving her on to the 2nd grade book in about 2 weeks.

This product was just what I needed to boost my first graders’ writing skills. I use for my Do Now time, small group and homework!
