I got these at Christmas. Excellent cookies1 They were exactly as described; melted un your mouth1 The bright red tin was really pretty and festive; it also kept the cookies fresh to the last crumb. The tin held about two dozen cookies and every single cookie was fresh and delicious. My problem with David's was that when I reordered these after the holiday, the cookies were not the same quality as these. Every cookie was burnt on the bottom and covered iin powdered sugar. I couldn't see that they were burnt until I tasted them. Every last cookie was burnt on the bottom.when I pay $23 for a tin of cookies they better be damn good, and there should be at least two dozen in the package.Very disappointing.

We bought two tins of these cookies. One for us the other as a gift. We didn’t give the gift. Both tins came badly bent up. When we opened one tin two sections out of four sections were crumbled up. Those two sections had some whole cookies, but a lot had to be eaten with a spoon. Yes still delicious but not worthy for gifting. I wouldn’t feel comfortable giving a bend up tin of cookies as a gift….assuming also the cookies had gotten crumbled as they did in the tin we opened…Knowing this may happen to another order, would I purchase again??? Yes probably for just us, but not as a gift. These cookies are delicious even crumbled and also bring back sweet memories when my mother use to make them……

These butter pecan meltaways were a big hit at work, and make a great gift for family and friends during the Christmas holidays. The tin is large sized and keeps the cookies fresh. The price is a little high but so worth it! I have even sent these in goodie boxes I’ve mailed to family.

A treat for myself. Made them last aWhole month, that was hard! Haha.They tasted just as good beginning to end! Melting in your mouth! Yum. They would be a real good hostess gift.

These cookies are melt in your mouth perfect! I've tried making them in the past and they are nothing like these. People call them Mexican wedding cakes, or sugar pecan cookies or whatever - they are sweet chunks of satisfying goodness. in fact, I, uh, ate the whole can all by myself (over a period of time - not in one sitting) and therefore have to monitor how many times I order these.

Love these cookies, however most recent order must have been badly shaken up somewhere along the line. Many of the cookies had crumbled. I had planned to share some of the cookies as gifts, so I'm glad I opened the can. At least there was more for ME!!
