I have been using these strings for over a decade now. I am one of those players who quickly wears out standard strings due to whatever junk is coming out of my fingers. It only takes one gig to corrode them into becoming noticeably darker and after a couple days they are prone to breaking. But not these strings. I can easily get a month or more out of a set playimg regularly and they maintain the initial brightness and tone the entire time. I only need to change them after they have begun to physically wear down and develop intonation issues. Seriously, they play great, feel great, and sound great. They may cost about twice as much as a standard set but, if you are like me and find yourself corroding strings quickly, they will easily last you 10x as long making them an outstanding value.

Some of the best strings on the market. I play in two bands and these will last over a month easily, sometimes up to three depending on conditions. They may be a tad more expensive upfront than most, however your saving money in the long run with how long they'll last. The definitely hold their clarity and tone as they get played, which cannot be said for most other strings. Love them!

I’ve been playing guitar for years and I always come back to Elixir. They just feel right. The tone is super clean, bright and smooth and they settle in fast without needing constant retuning. What really makes them stand out though is how long they LAAAAAAAST. I play pretty regularly and I used to swap out strings every couple of weeks. With these, I easily get a month or more of solid, fresh sound. Even after that, they’re still playable. You can feel the coating at first but it’s smooth, not weird or sticky, and honestly I forget it’s there after a few minutes of playing. Also, the value in the 3-pack is great. I’ve tried other brands that claim long life and clarity, but none have stayed as consistent as Elixir. I use these for everything from clean picking to heavier playing and they hold up. No dead strings out of the pack, no weird overtones, no surprises. If you care about tone and you don’t want to constantly be changing your strings, these are a no-brainer. They’re not the cheapest, but they’ve saved me way more in time and frustration than what I’d “save” buying cheaper packs.

If you live anywhere with High humidity you need these strings! I live on a sailboat and travel up and down the east coast of the USA. I was using another brand but within a few weeks the strings went dull and rusty. You don’t get that with Elixir strings they last forever ! They sound great. I won’t use anything else on my guitars now

Las cuerdas Elixir pueden ser las mejores cuerdas que vas a encontrar en relación calidad/precio. Tengo un problema grave de sudoración de manos y, como podéis entender, mis cuerdas suelen durar poco por mucho que las limpie tras tocar. El pasado verano puse unas Elixir en mis guitarras y puedo decir que la she usado hasta Octubre, sin pérdida de brillo no tono. Este pack sale más que económico. Si no las has probado, deberías concerderle el beneficio de la duda.

I've been using Elixir for a number of years, and whilst they are not the cheapest, you get what you pay for, I gig 2-3 times a week and these last me a month of gigs, easily, other brands I'm lucky to get a gig and half out of them, mainly due to the acidity of my skin, I can kill a set of strings in a couple of hours. they hold tune, stretch in quickly, and in my opinion have a great tone that lasts and lasts. I use them on all my electrics now and have played on 10-46 since I was 15, tension is perfect for me, Give them a whirl nothing to lose her on Amazon, if you don't like them at least you tried...
