Nice sound, has games, coolest case ever
This little gadget is a multi-talented Bluetooth speaker with a built-in subwoofer! The sound quality is actually pretty good for such a small size, and the gadget comes in the coolest carrying case I’ve ever seen! It’s definitely functional as a speaker, but it’s cool and cute in other aspects which is the reason for the price. You can play a few games on this, although I can’t quite figure out what some of them are, and you are limited in your control to just the left and right arrows. BTW, the six back-lit keys are really retro cool. Darn, the whole thing has coolness and cuteness written all over it! You also get an alarm clock, a mood light, and yea, pixel art of the 16 by 16 resolution kind. You can stream tons of community-created pixel art from their cloud via the app, and you can create your own from scratch or from your own photos. Really impressive. As long as you don’t mind the 16 by 16 coarseness, this is one of the coolest gadgets on the market today.

Definitely worth the money!!!
This is the best purchase ever!!! The sounds quality is actually good i was expecting it to be bad but no. There are aoo many things you can do with this cute retro speaker! Games, coloring your own pixel art, alarm clock, make some beats lol, put text across the screen and add effects and change the colors, and it doesn’t feel cheap or anything its actually a little heavy and the keys click soo satisfyingly. The joy stick is super cool and everything is just way worth the money in my opinion!🙏 it even cane in a cute little case with the charger and manual. Definitely recommend for people who love little retro things!!

A bizarre premium little...thing. I love it.
This thing is so weird. It's definitely a novelty item. I just love it, though. You'll know it's different the second you get it. It comes in this nice gift bag, and inside that is about the most premium product packaging I've seen. Then you take it out and it's got nice weight, really high quality plastics, genuinely fantastic mechanical switches on the keys that feel fantastic, and a beautiful little 16x16 pixel screen. Everything on this device looks and feels SO GOOD. As a bluetooth speaker, it's...fine. I watched a lot of reviews saying it was great, and I don't believe it is. I have a over a dozen good bluetooth speakers of various shapes and prices (I'm kind of obsessed), and it sounds like what I'd expect out of a $30-50 bluetooth speaker. Which isn't bad. I've heard worse. My smallest speaker is an Altec Lansing Baby Boom XL that costs $25-30 new, and it didn't sound as good as this. This Divoom sounds louder and has a tiny bit of bass (very little, though) that adds some depth. But my Soundcore Boost speaker - which I THINK cost about $80 new - sounded way better. Then again, it's got two drivers and is a bit bigger, so it's not entirely fair. I didn't bother comparing it with my bigger and more expensive speakers. Basically, expect similar quality to, say, a JBL Clip 4, which is typically in the $50 range. It's way more than a speaker though. It's a fidget toy with the fun mechanical and super tactile keys and buttons. It's got a unique design. It's got a high quality screen. It's got simple games, weather, time, alarm, stopwatch, dice rolling, magic 8 ball, custom text display, and a showcase of pixel art from a large online community. I think the thing is extremely cool and well worth the money if you come in with the right expectations about sound for this size and want something fun to mess around with and cool to look at.

Adorable BT speaker for computer/keyboard lovers
I love computers. I love mechanical keyboards. I love pink. How could I NOT buy this? The Ditoo is definitely a WANT, not a need, and yet I NEEDED THIS! Thanks to the powers of Amazon, less than 24 hours after I discovered this adorable, surprisingly decent-sounding little device, I was the proud owner of one! Packaging was nicer than expected - again, I got the pink option, which comes in a cute pink gift bag that holds an adorable, reusable pink plastic case with handle (presumably they come in colors to match your Ditoo), that holds the Ditto and USB-C charging cable. This arrives already perfect for gifting. My Ditoo arrived with 80% battery charge, so it was ready to use upon arrival. I marveled at the back-lit, blue-clicky mechanical keys on the mini keyboard, and the bright colors on the 16 x 16 pixel "monitor". I downloaded the app, and was surprised to see all the different things you can do with it. Build quality was very nice. Yes, it's plastic, but it doesn't feel at all cheap. The blue clicky switches feel and sound very satisfying. The little joystick functions well. For a little box, sound quality was quite good. I have a zillion Amazon Echos of various types, as well as a couple of Google Homes, so speaker quality wasn't even a consideration/worry for me, but I was pleasantly surprised, just the same. I absolutely love this, and now want them in all the colors. My only wish is that this were available with an easily end-user removable battery, because this is now just one more thing, among too many, that might someday burn down my house as the Lithium ion batteries age. Update: Clearly, YMMV, but having owned this for a few weeks, I am still utterly enthralled with this little guy. I bring it from my bedroom, to my home office, and back again....so yeah, I really need to pick up another one. lol Just LOOKING at it makes me happy. I mostly use it as either a clock (sometimes with an alarm), or play Tetris on it, so I am admittedly *barely* brushing the surface of all the things you can do with this. Still, I can't remember the last time something (inanimate) sparked so much simple joy in me. WELL DONE, Divoom!

More than just a speaker - a fun, functional, and unique speaker
This speaker is such a great & fun product! It's very unique, a good conversation starter, has great sound quality, and many other nice features. It's more than just a speaker too - it has various other features like an alarm clock, score keeper, stopwatch, planner/calendar, and the display is able to show some very nice pixel art, whether its your own creation or one of the many designs from the community shared on the app. Below is a breakdown of some of the speaker's features: Design: 5 out of 5 I love the design of this speaker. It looks like a retro computer, with a curved screen similar to an old CRT TV, and a classic pixel design. I love the way pixel art looks on this, and all the games give an old-school arcade feel. The small keyboard is mechanical and has a really good feel when using it, and the joystick is reminiscent again of old school arcades. One note on the joystick that I didn't expect from the picture is that it isn't a typical, 360 degree joystick, it really only moves one direction to select. The design is my favorite part of this product. Controls: 5 out of 5 The controls are very nice. You are able to change the current song through your phone or through the mechanical keyboard. The name of the song being played is displayed on the speaker when the song changes, and the joystick acts as an enter key. Like I mentioned earlier, using the mechanical keyboard is also very satisfying, especially when playing the games. Sound Quality: 4 out of 5 As I mentioned earlier, the sound is very good quality for the size of the speaker, especially the bass quality. If your highest priority is sound quality, this may not be the speaker for you (and you'd probably want to get a bigger speaker), but again, for the size of the speaker it's great, and this speaker again is so much more than a simple speaker. Also, chances are, unless you really have an ear for it, you won't think anything of the sound quality Games: 5 out of 5 Since this is advertised as a speaker, I didn't really have high expectations of the games, but I love them! There are a variety of classic games, such as Tetris and Snake (among others), and they are very fun to play, and work well with the limited controls. Phone app: 3 out of 5 As other people have noted, the phone app is kind of the weak spot of Divoom's speakers. The app gives you more control over your speaker - it allows you to post and find/display art from the community, and change what mode of display your speaker is on. However, there isn't a lot of clear documentation on the app, and some small things like the fact that animations don't show up on the app (at least in my case), and I was not able to view them until I clicked on it and it showed on the speaker. There are some things about the app that are still vague to me. However, that being said, I can still do all that I want with the app, and I think even with the confusing layout of the app, this speaker is great.

Very cute. However— mic is always on. Privacy concerns.
This thing has a mic that does not turn off. It is constantly recording whatever it hears. You can tell this by the visualizer moving whenever you speak or make noise. It does have the ability to take memos but one would think there’d be a manual switch. Battery life isn’t good. (Probably because its mic is always on) Sound quality is mostly fine but it gets fuzzy on some parts but it’s barely noticeable unless you’re paying attention. Quality feels solid though. Doesn’t feel cheap. All in all— don’t have important or private discussions around this thing while it’s on for privacy concerns. App needs more features. There’s no ability to change the template for the weather or temperature. Needs more clock options. Weather/temp is based your phones weather via Bluetooth but it’s not the same as my phones temperature. Don’t know why. Ability to set routines and have reminders for things with images is very nice and one of my favorite features. This particular product uses 16x16 images. That didn’t quite occur to me when I got it— what I mean is— the images you’ll see on the app (the really nice ones) are higher than 16bits. But you can’t use them. They have to be 16x16. So you’ll end up wishing you had gotten the higher pixel display if you want this for the pixel art more than speaker. I personally still really like the product and will keep it, but to the devs I would like to request an app update.
