I have purchased these same mylar bags multiple times now. They hold up well with freeze dried foods inside. I have never had a popped seal or any problems with the food I put inside of them. They are good quality and are thick just like I wanted.

I am new to packaging and was looking for packaging to seal my beef jerky to be more shelf stable. 4x6" is huge, right? Wrong! If you are looking for something to store a decent amount of stuff in, please look for bigger bags. These 4x6" ones will only fit about 2 oz of beef jerky stuffed into them. That being said, the size issue is my fault (the buyer) not the sellers. The bags are VERY well made, they are very thick and seal beautifully. Please note, you cannot vacuum seal with a home foodsaver sealer as the plastic is not long enough to reach. But, it works perfectly to make little sample packs of my jerky (and I use oxygen absorbers to prevent spoilage).

Nice size for freeze-dried Jolly Rogers to give away. I like the size.

These bags are reusable and resealable. I use these for all kinds of things such as dry foods, small household or office items, etc. Highly recommended!

These bags are truly thick. Most you get are thin and crinkle and the gusset or zippper lock will have small leaks but these don’t. I don’t know why people don’t know this but when they say, 7.5 mil. First it means it’s 3.75 mil per side. Also, the top flap after the zipper lock isn’t short, that’s what I need for heat sealing.
