Q: How far apart are the two holes for mounting on a BCD?

There are two mounting brackets on this knife. The ones that you can see in this picture, on the sides of the knife sheath - 1/4" to 2", and a typical zip-tie fits perfectly in these. The other is on the back of the knife sheath, its a plastic strap held in place by two screws - the distance between screws 2 3/4", and the plastic strap is 1/4" wide. I hope this helps.

Q: Does it lock in the sheath?

Yes. But it locks in with a plastic clip. It’s not the strongest. But I’ve never lost mine. Nice knife for the price though.
