Cosatto All in All Rotate 360° Swivel Spin Car Seat - Group 0+123, 0-36 kg, 0-12years, ISOFIX, ERF, Anti-Escape (Sea Monsters)

So our daughter is growing quick and even though she is only 8 months old and should be fine using her Cosatto Hold infant car seat she doesn't seem to like that a lot and we decided to buy something that hopefully will last for a long long time.We have a few Cosatto items at home and are generally happy with their products and customer service so we started our research with them and decided to buy another Cosatto product as the price was really good at the time. This is a Group 0/0+/1/2/3 car seat which means it's good from day one up until 36kg. We chose the Fairy Garden colour pack, but of course there are other options available...to be honest it really is difficult to pick one as all the options are so nice. The car seat arrived swiftly and you really don't need to do anything to start using it, you can just whack it in the car and you're good to go. It's got ISOFIX connectors but you can fit it securely into any car even without ISOFIX. One thing I wanted to mention is that the manual includes a car compatibility list. Don't be disheartened if your car is listed as "not compatible" as ours is apparently not compatible. I can confirm however that the first gen of Mazda 3 (also called BK 2003-2008) is compatible using the ISOFIX. We have the saloon body shape but I'm sure it's the same for the hatchback variant. For some reason Cosatto says it's incompatible with this car seat, but I guess it's them being cautious and say "incompatible" whenever they didn't have the chance to actually try it (to avoid lawsuits maybe?). Well anyway it fits perfectly and securely so I recommend trying it regardless and if it doesn't fit your car you can always return it.So moving on the car seat itself, the seat is covered in a lovely material that almost feels like satin. It's super soft, and very pleasant maybe even too good for babies who will have all sorts of food all over it in no time :) We'll do our best to keep it clean. There is ample padding around everywhere which can be changed as your little ones grow. There is a wedge shaped pillow under their bum that you can be taken out when they are bigger and the infant padding is removable too. The hight can be adjusted too. It's got the Extended Rear Facing feature that allows your child to travel in the car facing rear until the age of approx 4. Now I'm not at all convinced this is true for two reasons. One is that even if it's extended I don't see how a toddler will have enough legroom to face rearward for longer than a few minutes. Even the marketing materials on the cosatto website portray a child who seems extremely uncomfortable (her knees in her face...). The other reason I don't think we will be able to use this in this mode until the age of 4 is because I'm yet to see a 3-4 year old who don't want to face forward just like everybody else in the car and see the same things as everybody else :) But anyway it's got maybe a little bit more legroom than a car seat without ERF so that means you can have your little one facing rearwards a little bit longer which is the safest way for them to travel.The harness has got a gel-like padding on the inner side that is cool to the touch and is very soft. This makes the harness antislip, so it shouldn't chafe your little ones skin through the clothes as they wriggle around. Putting the baby in and getting out is really easy anyway which is further aided by the rotate function which is not essential in my opinion but is certainly nice to have. I also like the little compartment at the back of the seat where you can stash away the instruction booklet and you will know where to look for it if you need to check something. There is also two fins to help dissipate force coming from sideway in the event of an accident. Only the fin facing outside should be open and the other side closed.Another thing I wanted to mention quickly if your baby haven't arrived yet and you're thinking about buying this or maybe one of the infant variants that can be used as a travel systme with your pram. We first went with the Cosatto Hold infant seat (as mentioned above) because that can be used with Cosatto prams as well. Every baby is different as well as every household so I can only speak for ourselves but I recommend thinking long and hard how much you're going to use the travel system function. We ended up not using it almost at all (due to Covid preventing our plans to travel among other things). With a Cosatto Hold or similar you have one year and you'd need to look for a replacement as your baby outgrows the seat. For these travel system solutions the ISOFIX base is sold seperately which is another expense...and all in all we spent more on the car seat that can be used only for a year than on this one which should be fine for years to come. I'm not saying that travel systems are useless but we regretted going for that solution as we didn't really use it and had to buy a new seat a few months later. Just food for thought.All in all I'm really pleased with this car seat, it is robust and looks lovely. The cushioning is soft and secure and it promises to serve you for the next 12ish years. Well we've only been using it for about 2 months so we definitely have some time left. I will update this review as our daughter grows with experience gathered throughout the months and see if it lives up to its promise and will see if I still want to recommend it in 12 years time :)If you found this review helpful please let me know by clicking the "helpful" button. Absolutely LOVE this car seat! Super comfortable for my little one, soooooo easy to put baby in and out of the car because it rotates as well. This is my 4th child and I wish I'd have found this car seat sooner. Seems super sturdy and protective, easy to use fastenings and cute material pattern. Fantastic product.

Pro's:-well padded & comfortable looking-love that it's rear facing for longer-great that it can be for the full lifetime that a baby or booster seat is requiredCon's-larger than I expected so will replace when baby becomes big enough for backless cushion.-Fitted as suggested with isofix but doesn't feel as secure as previous car seat we used (both Isofix)-Won't spin if we have a seat protector in (get's stuckNotes: Car Mini Countryman 2015.

Love this car seat. I purchased this after my recently new cossato car seat was in the car when another driver ran into the back of me. Cossato advised a replacement to which I ordered this one.Was ordered and despatched the same day and arrived the next day...super service.Very happy with this...lovely colours, and love the design. Easily installs into car. The rotate is great as I dine have to struggle with trying to fasten my granddaughter in. She loves it aswell. Loves the colours and the design. Woukd definitely recommend and from the same supplier.

Daughter has one of these & highly recommended the baby seat to us. We look after our grandson (currently 9-months old) 2-days a week (free grandparent day care 😳😊). The seat is easy to fit & adjust, also swivels with little pressure required. Grandson definitely comfortable as it doesn’t take him long to drop off to sleep. He’s a bit of a chunk & the baby seat makes getting him in & out the car a simple exercise.

After having used a second hand car seat until the isofix bent, this is absolutely brilliant! It feels so safe and my almost 1year old loves it! He falls asleep in this one which he wouldn’t do in others I’ve tried him with. We absolutely love the anti escape mechanism! It feels much safer than just having the straps bare!I was a little dubious after reading some reviews that said the straps could get stuck when tightening but so far we haven’t had any issues at all!I would definitely recommend this car seat as it’s brilliant!

Easy installation with isofix, my baby granddaughter looks very comfortable and safe in there and because the seat rotates makes it easier to get her in and out of the seat.

It’s a brilliant car seat. The rotation feature is such a quality of life improvement over the previous car seat we used.Is also very comfy, judging by how quick the little one falls asleep on it :)

We have triplets so we managed to put three seats in a car and use them without having a break down every time we put kids in, so we adore Cosatto ❤️❤️❤️ The rotation is a great feature and support leg also helps a great deal so you do not need to use seat belts. The babies seem to be very comfortable and happy, they have a lot of room and really like the drawings on the fabric. Cosatto is a life saver for us! Thank you 👍
