My plants will thank me
I’ve used this to plant grasses and annuals in outdoor pots and they seem to be really enjoying this. Pretty sure some of the plants have already outgrown their stated dimensions and they’ve only been planted out for a few weeks.

You can buy cheaper.
You can buy this cheaper but does it include delivery, this does at Amazon so not much difference in price. Good quality compost, overall, very pleased.

Handy if you only need smaller amounts
Obviously it's cheaper per litre for a big bag at B&Q etc. but I only needed a smaller amount to pot-up some palms so 10l was ample. Also, the 10l bag isn't heavy to carry about.I did notice some marble-size clumps of what looked like clay in the mix so it's worth breaking up any larger pieces.I expect the palms will be fine for several months until I need to add more slow release fertilizer.

Mixture of what?
I’m used to getting John Innes No.3 potting compost, which is meant for potting on plugs into larger pots for the plants then to develop before planting out later. The compost I got in the past had a uniform consistency and was a good mix of loam, peat, grit and fertiliser. This was a mix of some sand, dirt, unidentified large lumps (see photo) and clumps of what looks like old root. It’s very poor quality and I’m shocked that an established company like Levingtons allows such a poor blend to get to customers. It has put me off using them again, where in the past they were an almost guaranteed brand. I chucked this on the lawn being an extremely expensive addition, where a cheap topsoil would have been better for my pottings!
