Great replacement
Install was a breeze (after removing the rusted original that is)us. Let's put it through a michigan road salted winter and see how it fares

Definitely DOESN’T fit 2007 Silverado 2500HD
The actual hoist is a breeze to install. One bolt and it’s replaced. The problem is the bell at the end of the steel rope is WAY too small. Barely catches the inner edges of the rim. It was fairly easy for me to fabricate an extension for it, but it would have been a LOT better if they would have just made the arms a few inches longer.

Fits my 2003 Silverado 2500HD .
No problems. Bolts right on. Design is slightly different than the OEM part, but doesn't affect the functionality. And it was a lot cheaper than the original.

ONLY USE WITH 6 LUG WHEELS
Works as it should. DOES NOT WORK WITH 2500/3500 8 LUG WHEELS. Bell end is too small to securely hold the wheel.

Updated version without safety catch
Hardest part of installing is soaking the 1 bolt with penetrating oil. Only 1 bolt holds it up. Remove it and it drops right out. New one went in with no issues. Just make sure plastic cap is secure around the square drive and the guide tube is snapped in tight.

Great product BUT, does not fit a 2500HD wheel
The cable winch works great and it is easy to install. However, the retaining plate that fits against the wheel isn't big enough. It is almost the same size as the hole in the wheel. I do not believe it will work as shipped. I had to fabricate an additional plate to insure that the retaining plate didn't slip through the hole in the wheel. NOT a direct replacement for a 2500HD application.
