I was very impressed that Camvate made a replacement quick release plate for their quick release base! And it fits perfectly! If you have a Camvate quick release base and need a quick release plate for it, Camvate has the perfect solution! Now I have 2 plates!

Rock solid, will last forever

Item works fine as far as mounting to my Tilta base, unfortunately the plate is too wide for my arca swiss tripod head. Will be returning this item, unfortunately.

This plate has a metal threaded screw hole which acts as a plug to keep your mounting screw from falling out. Some other plates have tight fitting rubber plugs which work fine but the metal threaded screw hole is a clever way to plug the hole securely after inserting your mounting screw, but I’ve found out the metal plug screw is very loose so I’m going to try the Loctite medium strength blue to hold it in place.

Just what I needed

Does what it’s supposed to do. Great value for money. Seems durable. No complaints, although the price is almost too low. Is it going to shear in half with $5000 of gear on it? Maybe, but it doesn’t seem like it. Would recommend!

Works perfectly on my high end Manfrotto fluid head on a budget. Work well with grab and go telescopes, binoculars, cameras, and camcorders.

Fits the base but the screws are too short and it’s difficult to screw i to the camera with a tool.

Excellent Quality

Plate design does not allow it to move forward and lock. So the camera is hard to balance on the tripod. You can force it past but the safety catch does not work so if you don't have it locked then your camera could fall off. Also, the metal screw that comes with these plates are terrible and don't work so well. I would not buy these again.
