I recently purchased the SOG Medium Size Backpack, and I couldn't be more impressed! This backpack is the perfect combination of rugged durability and practical design, making it an excellent choice for daily use, hiking, or travel. First off, the build quality is top-notch. The materials used feel extremely sturdy and are clearly designed to withstand the elements. Whether you’re out in the rain or braving tough trails, this backpack holds up well. The zippers are smooth and robust, and the stitching is solid, which gives me confidence that this bag will last for years to come. The size is just right – not too big, not too small. It’s perfect for carrying all of my essentials without feeling bulky. I’ve used it for everything from work commutes to weekend hikes, and it fits my laptop, books, water bottle, and snacks comfortably. The main compartment has plenty of space, and the smaller pockets are well-organized, helping me keep my gear neatly packed. The adjustable straps are another highlight. They’re comfortable and provide good support, even when the bag is packed full. Plus, the padded back panel adds extra comfort during longer periods of wear. There’s also a handy chest strap for added stability when you’re on the move. SOG has clearly paid attention to the little things – the high-quality materials, the water-resistant finish, and the ergonomic shape – all come together to create a fantastic backpack that feels tailor-made for anyone who needs a versatile, reliable bag. Most importantly I must say this was a great value. Other bags at this price point done even come close to the quality of this bag. Highly recommended! Update – 6 Months Later: Stitching Issue Between Compartments (Still a Great Bag) After 6 months of regular use, I have unfortunately run into a durability issue. The stitching that connects the front compartment to the main body of the bag has come loose, creating a hole between the two main compartments (photos attached). I have not been rough with the bag, just normal everyday use, so I am disappointed to see this happen on an otherwise excellent product. I have reached out to SOG in hopes they will offer a replacement or repair, and I will update again once I hear back. Still giving 4 stars for now because I really do like the design and functionality of the bag. It just needs to hold up better over time.

I absolutely love this backpack! The SOG Ninja Tactical Day Pack is the perfect size for everything I need — not too big, not too small. At 24 liters it holds my daily essentials, extra gear, and even has space for a hydration bladder when I’m out hiking. The build quality is fantastic: durable fabric, solid stitching, and smooth zippers. I’ve carried it in the city, on trails, and while traveling, and it’s handled everything with ease. The padded straps and ventilated back make it really comfortable to wear all day, even when loaded up. I also appreciate the thoughtful design — multiple compartments to keep gear organized, MOLLE webbing for attachments, and side pockets that actually fit water bottles. The tactical style looks great, but it’s practical too. Overall, this is hands-down one of the best backpacks I’ve owned. Whether you’re using it for everyday carry, hiking, school, or travel, the SOG Ninja delivers way above its price point. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

I just bought this bag again to replace the one I bought almost 9 years ago. I carried it to work everyday, packed to the gills. I would still be using it but the zipper on the front compartment finally gave out. This is an excellent bag, well worth the money.

I’ve been using this bag for about 2 weeks now. It’s durable, plenty of space for everything I need to carry with me every day, and helps keep everything organized. The zippers are much better quality than some other versions of this bag I’ve owned by other companies. It’s pretty comfortable to wear and easy enough to adjust. I gave it four stars for one simple reason. It seems like when they designed this bag, they just took the design of a smaller bag and just expanded it in the software and used those measurements to make the larger bag. Which in turn is not necessarily a bad thing. But a pocket that used to easily hold keys is now an oversized bottomless pit. The cup/bottle holder in the side is now larger, which isn’t necessarily an issue. The straps on the other hand, the excess is entirely too long. I was able to take care of that simply by cutting them. Other than that. Great bag. No complaints. Great EDC back or even as an overnight bag or day pack.

I like this daypack a lot. It's lightweight and has good storage for its size. The straps are comfortable and have cushion I've used it a couple of times for hiking and has held up well. The material is strong and durable, in my opinion.

Not a huge backpack but impeccable quality. Zippers are awesome, dig the color. For its smaller size, you can fit a fair bit in it. Great for a day hike or something. Straps seem good and I love that its got molle on it for modularity.

Supper happy with the quality, function, and storage capacity of this bag! Materials feel sturdy, it has a bladder storage and management system, and many storage pockets. Bought it for my nephew who is going into the Air Force, he loved it!
