Peel and stick tile backsplash - A17086

Easy to apply and looks beautiful.

First, this product does look gorgeous. It is a great finish to a room and makes you want to put it everywhere. Seriously can't say enough about how good it looks. I gave this product a 5-star review because, as you'll see below, we ran into a couple of issues and without even reaching out to the company or Amazon... this company took the initiative to reach out to me and help me fix the problems. This has to be the best customer service I've seen with any company on Amazon so far. Because of this amazing customer service and a beautiful product I think this earns them 5-stars! Adhesion was an issue for me. (If you have any issues with this, simply use some 3M spray adhesive to help.). Clean the walls with an alcohol based cleaner, make sure it is dry, then spray on a little 3M adhesive on the wall and back of the panels and then apply. I cleaned and prepped my walls and installed the backsplash and pressed everything down firmly. The next morning I came back to inspect and the corners were already peeling back off. I pressed everything down again and I am waiting to see if it holds this time. (This is where the company stepped in to help me out.). Please understand that the walls I was dealing with in this situation were RV walls and not drywall like you'll find in most houses. Also, you need to be aware of the fact that the overlay that the manufacturer puts on each piece to protect it extends past the edges of the backsplash. So you have to remove this (front and back) before trying to install, otherwise, you are unable to line up the pieces perfectly with your countertop or wall edges. You can also use scissors to cut this flush with the backsplash so that it won't get in your way. One more thing... the static cling of these really likes to pull each sheet to the wall like a magnet before you get things lined up. So you have to be patient and carefully line them up so they don't go on crooked. This alone made what I thought would be a 10-15 minute project about 2 hours. I was working in a somewhat tight space around smaller gaps. This might not be as big of a problem on a fully open/exposed wall. My project was around a stove and windows in an RV kitchen. I believe that this would have been much easier if I were putting this up in my house. RV counters and.... well everything in RVs are never perfectly square. So that only adds to the difficulty level of installing anything! Ha! I'd give this product 10 stars for how beautiful it is and how great the customer service was from this company. The blue/grey combination really makes the place look nice! I'd definitely recommend this!

Easy to use! It was easy to place on the wall and cut to size! The adhesive is strong! It looks just as pictured and is a little more shiny. It feels fairly durable! Highly recommend.

Excellent quality!! I took my time with this as this was my 2nd purchase and design within two weeks because I hated the herringbone look after I failed to line up corners properly in a few spots. This pattern makes it easier to patch if you need to. It also is absolutely beautiful with greens and blues if you have that hue of paint or decor in your home. My flooring is also grey so I knew this overall color would be so much prettier and I am so proud of myself that I did all this within maybe 3 random sittings total of maybe 10-12hrs between those days. I used some adhesive for the corners especially around windows. I know the low humidity in winter will tend to make this peel so I’m hoping this will last at least a handful of years until I can afford real tile. Overall the quality & design is so elegant & I’ve already received many compliments!!

Was really looking forward to these but they let me down. They didn't last but they are beautiful when first put on

I’m giving this review 5 STARS!!!! It looks soooo good in my kitchen, I mean it truly changed the look of my kitchen. I’ve also purchased some lights for under my kitchen cabinets to shine down on the back splash that will give it a glassy look. I’m very pleased with this purchase. Also they were easy to install with a few cutting around some of my sockets. Great product!

We bought a 1950s home from the original owners, and just about everything was still in the original, but well maintained, condition. While I actually love my retro blue bathroom - the old tile backsplash in the kitchen was white with random fruits, and it had to go! We weren’t ready to fully renovate the kitchen yet, but adding this peel and stick backsplash made a huge difference in my eyes. Beware: these are sticky! Work carefully and be patient, because once the sheet is placed, it can be difficult to pull off. It adhered perfectly to the existing tile and unless you look up close, you can’t tell that there is tile underneath. One box was enough for me, but like others have suggested, it might be wise to order a second box. The sheets are super easy to cut with scissors or a box cutter, and I had some leftover scraps if I needed extra pieces to fill in (which I needed to do around my electrical outlet). I worked from left to right to make overlapping easier, and didn’t have a problem. I definitely recommend this product for an inexpensive, easy upgrade! It took me less than an hour to finish, and I may be buying more to go behind my stove.
