Jake & Amos Green Tomato Relish / 2 - 16 Oz. Jars

Not quite as flavorful as the Braswell variety which is so hard to find that if a vendor has it they sell it like they were scalping a Super Bowl ticket.This will pass until I find another.

Tasty! Almost like my grandmother's "Fisherman's Relish" but her tomatoes were "chunkier." The only improvement I could suggest would be chunky tomatoes instead of finely chopped. Otherwise, it is pretty perfect.

Bought this because I still remember the homemade green tomato relish I used to get from my mother-in-law about 40 years ago. It is a good relish but not the great relish I have been looking for for years. Still it is worth the price.

The flavor is great. The tomatoes were more ground up than expected. I would love to see a more chunkier version.

I was looking for the chunky, with a bit of spice Green Tomato relish like they serve at the local catfish house...this is copped like pickle relish and has the similar consistency and flavor. I purchased a two jar pack....someone will getting one of these jars as a gift! I would not reorder....I really do not like it.

it is good taste wise but not hot like it was when mommy made it

Haven't been able to find Green Tomato Relish in years, Family recipe called for this in summer tuna and mac salad. Works as well as I can remember how it tasted in my mom's salad. Would recommend, especially in tuna/mac salad.
