Good Product
We bought this to put around our Air Return since air filters sold today are smaller in width than they should be. This kept our filter from moving up and down. Sad that we needed a 1/2 more to fix our issue but the filter now fits snug and we no longer hear it drop down when AC our unit cuts off. The adhesive works great and this is the right density for what we needed, not too soft or hard, it does not compress much which is good for us. Good product...

Quality product! **Please read if applying to painted surfaces**
I was looking for an cushioned, adhesive strip to prevent dings and scratches on painted doors due to occasional wheelchair impacts. On the whole, I’m pleased. PRO: Absorbs impacts well Neutral light grey color isn’t too distracting on off-white painted surfaces Scuffs wipe up with water, light household spray or magic eraser Adhesive strips hold well on painted wood CON: Adhesive strips will peel paint off surfaces when removed or adjusted If you plan to stick the stripping onto a painted surface, I found the following solution to be helpful. You’ll need to sacrifice a small length of your roll for testing: 1) Cut a 6” strip. 2) Remove the yellow protective plastic. 3) Apply the adhesive strip to one of these surfaces: tile, stone, or hard wood laminate. ***Do not apply to wood with a polyurethane finish, or you may strip the varnish. 4) Pull up the adhesive strip, reapply, then repeat until the adhesive feels more tacky than sticky. (Fwiw, it took about 20 repeats for me) 5) Apply your test strip to an inconspicuous painted surface like a baseboard in a closet. Wait 30 minutes or longer. 6) Slooowly remove the test strip. If you haven’t pulled up paint, follow these directions with your real strip, and apply where you want it. If you did pull up paint with your test strip, try this: 1) Cut a new 6” test strip. 2) Remove yellow plastic. 3) Apply the adhesive to a terry cloth towel, then pull it off. Repeat one or two more times, no more! The strip will pull off tiny fibers from the towel making it far less sticky, but still tacky. 4) Apply test strip to an inconspicuous painted surface. Wait 30 minutes or longer. 5) Slowly remove test strip. If you haven’t pulled up paint, follow these directions with your real strip. The downside of the towel method is that the foam strip may not keep its hold to the surface if too much adhesive is removed. Don’t overdo it. I can't promise this is a foolproof solution, but it should minimize paint peeling when (gently) removing the foam tape. Good luck!

Goo Stuff
Got tired of replacing the door seal in my Fridge at $95 each. I fashioned a seal for my 3-door Kitchenaid Refrigerator, Looks good. Seals tight. Worked out better than expected.

Good for weather sealing but not for soundproofing.
I ordered the wrong size first and then realized I needed a really thin type of stripping for my doors. This works well but it is pretty skinny so it will be effective if your door and door frame area already pretty light, like mine. I installed this hoping it would block some of the sounds outside my office but honestly, it didn't make any difference. It's not really what it's for anyway but I thought I would mention it if anyone is considering doing the same. The quality of the product is good and I'm giving it 5 stars because it's perfectly fine for what it's actually designed for. It just didn't function for my particular experiment.

Easy to use but does stick well
The quality is decent, and it's easy to use, but the adhesion is not the greatest; it barely sticks. However, on the flip side, it is easy to peel off.

Good quality, sticks well
The foam itself looks like it will hold up well. The adhesive worked well on a painted door frame cleaned with rubbing alcohol. So well that it was a pain to remove in the sections where my door was warped and I wanted to change to a thicker strip.

Sticks very Well
Works like a charm and sticks very well. I cleaned all surfaces before applying and installing was a breeze. I recommend cutting the appropriate length with just a tad of extra. When applying, take care not to stretch the insulation. Once applied.... it's stuck city.

Great for LOUD Interior Doors
I bought this to go inside the interior door casing in my house. I have several doors that are annoyingly loud when you shut them. So, I wanted something that would help soften the close. I originally considered just going with the small felt or silicone dots that are used on cabinet doors. I’m glad I went this route though because the way a door rests in the casing is not always perfectly square or even. Having this run the entire length of the top and latch side, was a much better application. If you cannot do simple peel and stick carefully, then maybe this is not for you. I have many years of detail experience and had not real issue applying it straight. I personally like to remove the yellow backer tape for about 8-10 inches and the stick the bottom lightly and then the middle lightly and then push the entire length of that 8-10” to stick. Then I just keep repeating this process until the entire length is applied. Made what it’s worth, I got the 1/8” x 1/4” x 50’ and it came in three individual rolls, not one big continuous 50’ roll After tweaking the doors and latch catch, I was able to get a fairly nice and much softer door closure. I had no issues with it being sticky enough. Keep in mind that once it’s stuck, I can’t be removed that easily, without risking it coming off in smaller pieces. Hope that helps someone else.
