Wharfedale Diamond SW-150 Subwoofer White

Due to only having space for bookshelf speakers, I decided to add a subwoofer to give a little more depth to the bass. All I can say is 'WOW' this sounds fantastic, great depth even at lower volumes, this is where most of my listening is done. My bookshelf speakers only push bass at higher volumes. Obviously as I live in a flat, that's not possible 95% of the time. The subwoofer came extremely well packaged, an outer box and then the manufacturers box. Considering it's small overall size, this is a heavy item. Setting up was easy, it allows for a single subwoofer cable to the left input, this I only found out by reading the manual. I know it needs to be 'run in', but straight out of the box is sounds superb. Highly recommend this product.

This is my first sub connection on my hifi system, it is connected to a Marantz model 50 amp along side B&W 603 speakers. The low end it produces is great for my set up, I am using a standard single chord C-line RCA interconnect for its connection as I had a couple spare. I don't have a massive room so for this size and price it was a no brainer compared to more expensive alternatives. Really easy to set up, just needs a little tweaking with volume so its not over powering the main set, the finish on these is great, also has fitted rubber feet. I like the white as it matches the other speakers. There is a slight electrical hum when connected to the mains, this is before any other cables are connected so it is not interference from other cables, Thankyou AV online for a great item and lightning delivery UPDATE. Av online swapped out this unit for another which is silent….thanks again 👍

Great subwoofer no problems at all.

Well for the price I can not fault it. Once set up correctly, it does sound quite punchy. No distortion and does sound good when playing movies. This is part of a Dolby Atmos setup, with a configuration of 5.2.2, so two subs for me. I purchased this in the colour white, so to match my other speakers within my setup. Pleased with purchase and does the job.

Fantastic sub for the price, plenty of base available. Connected this with my Onkyo amp and works great. Lots of base adjustments available to get your preferred sound. More than enough power for my living room (med size) at a great price, well worth it.👍

I actually thought for the price i might be missing out on maybe a better more expensive sub but i took a chance on the reviews. I'm so glad i did as for a small living room this sub is superb and has improved my listening experience massively. Individual bass notes are there and not just a mush of lower frequency which was what i was getting from my old tannoy FX sub. If someone told me this sub was £400 i would have believed them it really is that good! Don't spend a fortune until you try this out. Save some money for the utility bills 🤣

Good value for money..

Really love my sub. Bought it at £150 and think it is great value. I use it for listening to music from my iMac combined with a pair of Ruark MR1 mark 1s. Great sound, absolutely fills our medium sized room. Sounds like full sized speakers, not desktops.
