Powers a raspberry pi 5
Got it to power a raspberry pi 5 off 12V, which burns 15W at full power. It's not as compact as the castle creations 10A but it's cheaper.

Works as expected
I used this unit to power my FPV camera on a RC car. The 5v output is perfect for it... the camera gets a bit hot but that's probably an issue with the camera

Works as advertised
This device is for the receiver power for an FPV RC airplane which I havent flown yet but initial testing indicates the unit performs its intended function. Interestingly for me, the voltage selection jumpers allow for 5v (5.1v tested), 6 (6.1v tested) as well as 7.4 (7.4v tested). The item description and other answered questions indicate support for only 5v & 6v output. I tested all three configurations successfully. I'll update my review if the smoke comes out but so far, so good.

Works perfectly, ample amps!
Great BEC and efficient!

Make sure you solder it right
I assumed since the jst plug was on the one side that went to the receiver. so i soldered up the other wires to the esc wires, plugged in a battery and the thing fried.

DO NOT BUY IT WILL FRY AND DAMAGE EVERYTHING CONNECTED TO IT
I should not have bought this in the first place, I knew 8 amps seemed too good to be true, especially at such a price. I tested it 3 times with a 6s battery and a multimeter to ensure the voltages were correct, it was 5.2V which was a little higher than I would have liked but it's within the +-15% tolerance so it would do. I connected everything and the first time around it all powered on and seemed great and I thought I got a steal. I WAS WRONG. Disconnected and plugged it in again and it blew both itself and the $220 raspi 4b I had connected to it. There was no reverse polarity and the draw was well below their "8 amp" load. I ended up buying a Blue Robotics 5v 6A BEC and it's a million times better even if I had to wait a bit for shipping.

Will not keep voltage set to where it needs to be.
I received this UBEC for a 2 cell lipo pack, I set it up and while testing the unit my telemetry feedback on my transmitter went upto 7.1 volt. I checked the jumper and made sure it was reading 5v on startup, after 3 minutes it goes right to 7.1v.

Seems to work fine
I don't know much about electronics, but this device seems to do the job as advertised. The inputs and outputs are labeled. The black plug physically turns off the device when plugged in.
