This works great for removing loose pet hair. I think the cats enjoy it more than a metal brush because it is soft and doesn't have pointy bristles or corners like the Defurminator. The reverse side is great for cleaning fur off of couches and clothing. Cleaning it is easy with a handheld vac, one with a roller brush attachment is best.The big problem is, after 2 years of moderate use, the soft rubber side has hardened and cracked and most of the tips have broken off. So it no longer works as a brush. It's still good for cleaning couches and clothing.Now I use my Defurminator and a slicker brush for grooming the cats and clean up with this glove.

I bought this to use on our Jack Russell Terriors. One is a broken coat (partial short and longer hair); the other a short hair.Worked OK on the broken coat, not so well on the short hair.Perhaps it works better on dogs with longer hair? I think this glove works by attracting loose hairs with the static electricity that occurs when the coat is brushed? Longer hairs would allow for more static charge to build up and hairs would cling better - that's my guess.

One of my boyfriends cats is extremely heavy (20 lbs) and the vet recommended he start brushing her more often. The kitty runs when she sees the brush. Granted it's cute because she has to stop and rest. This glove is much easier because she loves to be petted. She happily rolls over on her back so u xan get her belly as well. It's hard to get the hair out because some gets caught in the grooves. We use a little comb to get the hair loose. I bought a second glove to use on my cats at my house. They love it too

This 2-n-1 Pet grooming glove is so easy to use and keep your pet from shedding hair all over your home!I'm a dog lover and hair on my belongings is not OK, but my dogs always have slept inside. I just brush them as I sit and watch television. They love it and with massage side is so soothing to their sore muscles and old bones. I bought one for my son, he was amazed at how easy the hair just pulled right off the brush side. Then, I bought one for my neighbor lady, who needed to be able to sit while brushing her dog. I wish I could buy them for all pets. Buy, this grooming glove, you'll be glad you did, plus its inexpensive. No, I was not compensated for this review!

We inherited my daughters cats when they were transferred out of the country and I have always been somewhat allergic to cat hair and dander so on a whim I ordered this mitt to help control the problem. Which it has - somewhat.I have one cat that absolutely loves the mitt and comes running whenever they hear the Velcro being pulled back. It does a great job of gathering the hair in the nubs and is relatively easy to clean.I really like the furniture cleaning side - as I call it to quickly clean the hair off our couch and chairs.Having owned the mitt for over three years it has been a good investment. It is starting to break up a little at this time due to extreme use. But will order again.

Got this since I don't have a pet but I and several living w/me have long hair and yes it does pick it up esp from stairs and bathroom mats, but the glove doesn't fit snug and I actually could of gotten a blister. I wish it was a glove instead of mitten, I thought the mitten would cover a wide area but no, it only picks up where you put the most pressure. A glove would fit better and get more at the sides and crevices. For the price not bad but just ok.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I cannot stress enough how great it is. I have a rabbit who sheds a bunch and this is great at picking up her fur. The one side with that is flat is great it easily picks up the fur on all surfaces. When the glove is full it is super simply to get the fur off and keep using. All you need to do is either take water and the fur comes right off or just push your fingers around and get the fur to ball up and it comes off. My rabbit is not a fan of the grooming tool, but shes picky so I cannot blame them for that. Overall 7/5 and I highly suggest buying this.

I was using up to 10 lint roller sheets every day to remove hair left by our two dogs. I really wanted something cheaper, quicker and less damaging to the environment. This mitt works well and cleans off easily. I still need to use a couple of roller sheets to remove fine particles like dirt and sand that stay behind, but this glove is a major improvement in removing dog hair from furniture and rugs. The other side of the glove is useful for removing top coat and loose hairs from the dogs themselves. I recommend this for anyone with pets.
