Changed the game for me after foot surgery
I used crutches for the first week after surgery and was struggling, falling, and had way too much weight on my other leg. This makes it safer, faster, and far easier to get around. The basket is such a relief to have because I can now safely carry items around with me from one place to another.I’m home alone in the mornings and walking my coffee cup from the kitchen to the living room was always full of fear, almost-falls, and a lot of slow-paced effort. Even bringing my medications from one room to another has been far easier. As for the cushion, I added a Sherpa-like cushion that I purchased on Amazon (pictured) and would definitely recommend… the original cushion wasn’t soft enough for me and the added cushion support makes movement and going over bumps far less painful.I do live in a small space and turning is a little difficult, but I have seen this general feedback on most (if not all) other scooters I was debating purchasing.I have yet to fold this into my car to transport with me so I can’t speak to this. The braking feature is useful and I appreciate that it doesn’t have a hard, abrupt stop so it doesn’t jostle the leg. It has a slower but firm stop.UPDATE:i used this again for my second foot surgery one year after the first. in total, this scooter was used over the course of 6 months in a year’s time. it was somewhat squeaky the second time around, but i can more than likely attribute this to the fact that i spray painted the scooter before the second surgery (i painted it pink for something to make me somewhat excited about losing the ability to walk again, lol). outside of some squeakiness, the scooter worked great. it lasted through two winters.my wife found transporting it to be fairly simple, though we never folded it as i have a large vehicle to transport. during my non driving foot surgery, i was even able to lift the scooter into my trunk and hop over to my drivers side door with no major issues, as it’s lightweight but also sturdy.

Well built and designed!!
Fabulous design, function and usability! And the basket on the front was a super detail! I could get along with it well at home AND … I could almost “fly” around any open spaces! I loved it!

Works well enough
This knee scooter gets the job done but certainly isn't perfect. The front was damaged right out of the packaging. I don't care too much about it, just a warning to those who may be bothered by it.The clamp on the bottom would not engage because the nut was way too far from the spring. Since it was loose and wouldn't stay locked in place, we got some pliers to tighten up the nut which corrected the issue.I've had it for a few weeks and have only left the house about 10 times. Nothing extreme, just to the grocery store and out to eat a few times but the basket is falling apart. One of the reasons I chose this one was for the convenience of a removable basket. Unfortunately the plate on the inside of the basket started losing it's finish in less than 2 weeks after removing it 3 times to put in the car. Now the plate has completely fallen off the basket. Not very durable. We are going to try to fix it with some E6000. 🤞The wheels in the front are a little off, or maybe it's the handle bars. I still can't tell what the issue is but it seems like the wheel on the left has a little lag and they don't run smoothly together. It creates a bit of a jerking of the handle bars. Difficult to use on any kind of stone flooring including flat brick pathways. As mentioned in some other reviews, the balance takes a little getting used to because you can't lean on the handle bars at all unless your knee is firmly holding the seat in place. Almost fell on my face and reinjured my ankle catching my balance. It works for basic movement from A to B and back again but I wish I had gone with a higher quality option. This was in our price range and does what I need overall which is why I give it 4 stars even with it's flaws. Not a BAD product but needs some improvements.

Very durable and great value
I had surgery on my foot and needed one of these. I have rented one in the past for a prior surgery and decided to purchase one this time. I wasn’t expecting much for $100 but I’m impressed. The basket in the front is a little cheap. The wiring on one side where it hang has with time broken so it hangs a little lop sided. They missed drilling one of the holes on one side of the knee pad, but my husband was easily able to drill a hole where there should have been one. Other than these two minor issues I’ve been impressed. I’ve dropped it down the back steps 3 times (4 concrete steps) and haven’t caused any damage (probably other than the basket, haha!) to it and still works great. I’ve seen people complain about the breaks on it. Look if you’re on some steep hill and put all your body weight on it and expect it to stop you 100% it’s not going to. But if you are using it normally and just need to slow down a bit they’ll work just fine. I like the fact that it has rubber wheels as apposed to plastic ones, but don’t expect to go off roading on this thing. You have to be careful on uneven surfaces, rocky (or in winter, salty) areas. I did flip it once cause I wasn’t paying attention to how fast I was going and the ground surface. Thankfully I was able to grab into something next to me and I didn’t fall. It’s not to heavy so to I was able to transport with me one my own. For $100 you can’t go wrong. Just don’t expect to go crazy with this thing and you won’t have any issues. (Which you shouldn’t be doing anyways if you need this, right?!)
