Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt, 4 Ounce

This salt blend is fantastic on many different types of food. My favorite thing to do with it is to lightly coat baking potatoes in vegetable oil and sprinkling the potatoes with it before I bake them, unwrapped and on a cookie sheet at 400; this is how Cracker Barrel makes their baked potatoes. It gives the potatoes a wonderful, savory flavor. I also love to use it on eggs and in my egg salad. The seasoning blend is on point and the uses would only be limited by one’s imagination.

I don't care who you are you need this. I have been using this stuff for years, moved, and needed a new bottle, couldn't find it so ordered here. You need it. Men who love to grill and eat meat, need it. Women who want to eat healthy vegetables, need it. Children and poor college students that only eat pasta, need it. These may be stereotypes, but these are examples I've seen and lived through haha. My father and his friends grill together and they put it on everything and it is a total game changer. I cook veggies for my mom and sister, feeling lazy throw this on and some pepper and olive oil, life changed. So easy. Picky eater, drunk late night snack, budget, bland meal for sickness, I'm gonna tell you my seacret. We call these my "Butt-Noods" a funny name, that I am known for. At parties it was awk but I thought fun to have people tell you they love your butt noods and then have a frat guy look at you and you tell him, get your mind out of the gutter, buttered noodles. So, the recipe that all my friends know and request... Allie's Butt Noods: Pasta, cook it according to package, I like penne, bow-tie, whatever floats your boat, those spirals are good too. Drain, save that pasta water. Butter, don't be shy, throw it in there, splash some pasta water, and shake this salt in, and stir like crazy shake it, activate the starch in the pasta water to create a nice sauce, trust me, emulsify. Enjoy, picky eaters, drunk girls, hung-over guys, anyone will like it. And finally for all you bad cookers, game-changer, complete upgrade. My friend who's cooking skills, well she's working on them, anyway, she was helping me make my mac and cheese, I got sick in the middle, didn't eat, almost passed out, i get distracted it happens, lesson learned. Worst mac and cheese I've made, so bland I hand her the salt, the crazy salt, and I tell her to go ham. Mac and cheese were not what we wanted, but it was still good, and at the pregame, there was non left by the end. Basically, i don't care who you are, you need this salt, if you are looking at it, get it, stop thinking, and just do.

This stuff is great. Has a really good taste. I rub it into steaks before putting them on the grill.

My son is absolutely crazy about this seasoning mix. He first tried it at his great-uncle’s house and has used it nonstop ever since. If I serve him a piece of meat without this on it, he refuses to eat it. He calls it “Crazy Jane” and puts it on just about everything. The flavor reminds me a little of Cavender’s Greek Seasoning but with less of that earthy oregano note. It’s savory, a bit salty, and somehow goes with everything. We always keep a jar in the kitchen now.
