Polishing glass really IS possible! I was pleasantly surprised!
I'm a 40yr car builder and mechanic, but I'm not a car detailer...and most of the stuff i work on is old junk... :D A few months back I was driving my 1970 F100 in the rain (like an idiot) and one of my wipers came apart far from home, so I had to drive with the end of the metal wiper scraping the windshield. When I arrived home I had a very deep and nasty scratch and since I didn't think it was possible to fix, and a new windshield for these old trucks is VERY expensive, I just let it go. I was invited to a carshow in a few weeks, so I decided to give this kit a try, and i'm very happy that i did! I used my orbital polisher, a wool pad and a slurry of this powder/water and a little cutting compound. IT TAKES F O R E V E R to polish out a deep scratch on a large section of windshield, but it very much does work! Of course, I had to do all the other windows too and removed years of age and pitting. I'm impressed, which doesn't happen easily. 5 stars.

Do NOT buy.
I give 0 stars. This product is complete CRAP! Don't waste your time or money. I should have read the reviews that were here first. No instructions and just doesn't work. Made my windshield pink. Went through a bad sand storm, and when the sun hits, you can really see it. Now, I get to see PINK!

It takes time to polish glass scratch out
Using Cerium powder (1 to 1 mix) to polish out scratch (orange peel defect on sunglasses), using air die grinder with cotton buffer (1" dia.) also to control speed. It took about 4 hours to remove defect from both lenses.

Quality Product but Lacking Good Instructions for Use
Works great but it is a mess maker. Be careful to not get the glass to hard or the heat will crack the windshield. Patience is a must. Rushing the process will lead to disaster. You definitely will need a change of clothes and car wash after using.

Product arrived with contents as described but without any instructions and in just a plain plastic bag with no labels.

Great item, would buy it again!!
Works as stated. Used this to remove etching, frosted looking between front/side windows in our RV, windows look new again. Used on the headlights of several of our vehicles, I would definitely buy it again.

Glass polish
Product might be great, but it came with no directions for use, so I don’t know!
