This one is a dream. It's taking getting used to as I'm so use to the old one but this is so far is perfect. Please don't hesitate, just buy it I'm sure you'll be as happy as I am.I bought another make which I had for about a year. The sound output became progressively worse, static, crackling, if the phone moved a millimeter. Very annoying and I all but stopped using it. this rubbish one is listed almost next to this oneUPDATE: Reduced rating to 4 (down from 5) would have chosen 3.5 if possible as the maximum volume is quite low. Though it was my phone or car at first. Still a very good device but if you are wanting a car rave, this isn't for you.

What you expect for the price
Build quality is very good for the price. Sound quality is fine. There is a noticeable hiss compared to more expensive DACs, and the overall sound quality is inferior to the Google or Apple dongles which sell for the same price as this one.
