I’ve had this step ladder for 2.5 years and I love it. If you have trouble climbing a regular ladder for to balance issues, this one is great due to the side rails. I also love the Taft at the top. Good for holding screws and small tools. It’s fairly light weight, but it’s also heavy duty. I weigh 300 lbs and it supports me just fine.

This HBTower step ladder is a beast. Easy to put together (hand rails) and very stable. The quality is superb and is built solid. The hand rails I wasn't too sure about, but they work very well. Good for older folks but better for those who just feel unstable on a ladder. I say it is good, not great for elderly as to move the ladder to the spot they want, they may struggle due to the weight. The ladder is heavy, but it is also the reason it is so stable. Like most guys, I have many ladders from lighter weights to heavy duty and this is definitely heavier duty. I got the larger one in order to reach more heights and no regrets, except storing it with the handles on. The handles stick out quite a bit in the small area I store it. I wish there was a way to fold the handles in for storage. This is my only gripe. Ladder is sturdy, heavy duty, though heavy, but feel it is worth every penny when I bought it for a sale price.

This step ladder has been great. I gave it a while so that I could use it before reviewing it. It’s held up wonderfully. Very secure without any wiggling at all. The framework is made out of a strong and sturdy metal. The steps, the plastic, are very sturdy and have not cracked or shown any use. The top step sort of snaps into place so that you know the step ladder is locked before you climb it. It folds up very tightly into my coat closet in the hallway, out of the way of guest’s coats, but handy enough to grab whenever I need it. I use it just about daily and would highly recommend it to others.

Rugged, yet slim. Very pleased with the quality of this product. I'm a big guy - 300# and needed a decent step stool for occasional use. This option was not expensive, so I took a shot, and I am very happy with the result. It is sturdy, stable and folds up thinly. If I ever need another stepladder this is where I will start. Very happy customer here.

Very sturdy step ladder with wide steps. It's great all the way around. My only complaint is It's a little hard to fold back up for storage. I have another one that has a little pull handle to disengage it which makes it easy to fold up. Really a minor detail and not a big issue. On the flip side of that it locks in place very good and is light weight for how durable it is.

There were no missing parts. It has great liability and is able to unlock easily. The color is a nice black. The design is flawless. The height is perfect for me, I am 5’ 2” and it fits well in our pantry or in the laundry room.

I laughingly call this my “older person’s ladder” since I seem to need the extra protection and sturdiness this ladder provides. It gives me the height boost I need to reach most things I have no business trying to complete with a step stool. The side rails on each side and wider steps are priceless to me. The fold down tray gives me a place to lay my tools, nails, screws, etc. while I use both hands to climb up or down the steps. It is very sturdy and just enough heaviness to its build to give me confidence that I can still do things for myself and not worry about the ladder toppling over. I will be 78 in a couple of weeks. It fits me fine!

Great step ladder! Works exactly as described & the price point was right. I’m not a short person, but my husband is 6’6”! So, when he is putting things away, items end up on the highest possible shelves tucked far back & out of reach for any average height human. This step stool helps the non-giants in our household reach everything without needing a taller ladder. I’m 5’7” & feel very safe with the ladder stability when using the top step. Easily stores as it folds flat & is lightweight. Easy to open and fold.
