Finally! Perfection! This is the fifth phone holder I have purchased. I didn’t realize they could be that different in so many ways. One was too small to hold my phone (iPhone 8) with the Lifeproof Fre case. One would not stick to my dashboard or my windshield. Even with the separate base sticky. The sticky stuck, phone holder wouldn’t even stick to that. I don’t know if the phone w/case would have fit, I never got that far. Another broke as I was following instructions on application. Returned for a new one, new one already broken when received. Then there’s the phone holder that once installed was no longer adjustable. It locked in whatever position it was in when applied. Yes, the directions sort of implied that would happen. But how could I tell exactly how far down it needed to be until it was put there!?! After numerous on and off to adjust, my husband took over. Yay! He is good at this stuff. He’ll get it. Half hour later I watched from the house as he threw it in the trash. On to the next one. Next phone holder was installed, quite easily. Waited 24+ hours before using. Thought everything was great until I went over a speed bump at 10 mph. Phone holder with phone went flying. Base was still attached to the dashboard. I pull over, cause now the phone and case have separated and are between my feet. The holder is now in 4 pieces…trash. On to my favorite phone holder. This Miracase has been fantastic from the start. The directions are clear, simple and easy to follow. It can be placed on the windshield, dashboard or vent. I put in on the vent first just to see if it worked. It did. Then I put it on my dashboard. So simple. So fast and easy. It has been on for several weeks now. It holds my phone with the case. It adjusts for the phone size. I can turn it if I want it facing a different direction. No parts of phone hold were broken-before or after installation. Ironically, when I was telling family members how great this case is I was informed my sister has had a Miracase phone holder for years. She loves it. Next occasion I know what friends and family are getting for gifts. This case is perfect. I couldn’t even think of a down side. Maybe that I couldn’t get it in purple? Seriously, this case is absolute perfection.

Very well made but didn't work for me. The vent clip won't fit my vertical vents. The suction would not stay secure on my dash in hot weather. I could not put it on my windshield because it would cause too large of a blind spot. I'm not sure it would hold their either in the heat.

Definitely holds my phone / Access Port steady with minimal shaking but, whoa, the suction cup has a tackiness that holds tight to the windshield all by itself - add the vacuum from the locking lever and it might as well be permanently affixed to the glass. If it's cool outside you can forget about trying to remove it. Best to wait for warmer weather to help and maybe a little alcohol between the cup and glass to break the bond. The grip is Herculean. The adjustable clamp holds tight and the foam pads allow for a perfect fit. Would be nice if it weren't so hard to remove.

*Edit* Well, I decided to switch mounts in my car and go with something MagSafe. I figured no big deal, just switch out the mount and leave the base since unfortunately this company doesn’t offer anything in the lines of that so I was unable to simply leave the arm and only swap out the cradle. Here’s where the issue arises… the adhesive they use is ridiculously strong and took way too much effort to remove the mount itself, not even focusing on the base yet. The adhesion basically cemented itself to the base and after prying it off I was left with a weathered and ever so rough base that was enough to prevent the new mount from staying secure so I had to replace the base as well… what a nightmare! It was so strong that even after delicately and slowly removing the base as to not tear the vinyl it was enough to pull the vinyl adhesion up so now I have bubbly vinyl that I’m assuming will only get worse with time. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find a liquid adhesive and be able to squirt some under the bubbles with a syringe but if not this just damaged my dash to the point of lowering my cars value unless I have it professionally repaired for hundreds of dollars. I would 100% NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT unless you’re ok with any of this down the road or have a plastic dash. I know this company could care less about my problem so this negative review is meant to help someone in the future that cares about their car but thinks this could work for them. I’m ok with leaving 1 star since once this unit is attached it certainly stays secure, to a fault… Original review: Packed with a single use circular base for textured surfaces which is great however the suction of the mount alone works plenty after it’s had a few moments to secure. I’ve had no issues with the mount falling thus far. I think it’s awesome they included the vent clip as well... I haven’t used it yet but it’s nice to have the option if I chose to. I really like the look of the mount as well within my console. Ps. I discovered this evening that the arm of the mount extends a few inches... Really cool that I can get a closer view of my phone when I want. So far I think this is an excellent product and well worth the money. I can imagine having this for years to come. 👍👍

I have had this for a very long time and it hasn't tore up yet. Highly durable!

Very nice except that after one month it is loosing it's stickiness. Of course just after the return window closed. I even used the extra sticky base and that part is sticking fine, but the clear suction is already peeling up.
