I cannot stress enough that the key to getting this product to work properly is to allow it to set. I applied it to my dashboard and waited 5 minutes if that, then I was upset that it came off so easily. Then I noticed I had a much larger quantity of this exact product that I previously used to apply emblems to the exterior of my vehicle and that worked perfectly. So I tried this same one from this order mainly because the other were larger sheets and I only needed a small quantity. It adhered perfectly. A couple of weeks later I changed my mind and decided to remove the object from my dashboard and I pulled at it slowly but firmly and it came off without any damage to the dashboard whatsoever. You could not even tell that it was there previously. I highly recommend this product.

These work great for automotive use on textured plastic trim and dashboard. I tried things like Alien Tape products and none of them worked. In the hot sun my dash cam would start sagging and eventually fall off. My vehicle has a plastic shroud to cover the lane detection and crash avoidance camera, which is where I needed to mount the camera. The 3M adhesive works great and hasn't failed since the application. The dash cam has a little weight since it has 3 cameras. Highly recommend this product.

Easy to use and very strong. Does a perfect job of adhering a cadence sensor to the inside of my bike's crank-arm.

the adhesive is very strong. i used it inside my car and it still sticks in place. follow the instructions and it will work very well. i just wish it was cheaper though.

I feel a little selfish that I have not written a product review about this item . First let me say I appreciate the reviews on this product prior to my purchase. The reason I purchased this was to hang a rear Dash Cam in my Mercedes. I had two other brands and one lasted for a few hours before the Camera became disconnected. The interior of the Mercedes is a weird Vinyl mix. But the Rear Cam never budged after I used it last summer . Awesome. Reasonable price and will become my go to .

Needed in order to mount a dash cam in my car. The tape that came with the camera wasn't holding. This has held tight since installation a few weeks ago!

Received them yesterday 8-30-2025. Safelite replaced my windshield so that was an item (carcam) they couldn’t reuse the adhesive. I cut kit to size and installed it again and it is perfect so now I have some extras to do my other cars. Make sure you use a razor knife or really sharp scissors to cut the double sided tape. With all the jerks driving now a days I am thinking to install a separate rear camera for those lane changers and tail gaters .

These are pretty thin. I had to layer 3 of them on the back of the dash cam mount in order to get it to stick to the windshield. Had I known this, I would have simply ordered the entire mount from the company’s website. The only reason the mount is down is due to selling my old car and getting into a newer one so I scraped it off and it wouldn’t stick anymore. If you need a thick piece, this is not the one to get.

I bought so many adhesive for my dashcam but it just doesn't hold. It just keeps on falling it was almost frustrating. Then I found this thing. I'm so happy now that my dashcam stays in place when I drive and it doesn't even budge. It's so sturdy I'm really impressed. I would highly recommend it.

I had issue with sticking my dashcam in my car as it gets too hot then it falls off, but this product actually works and sticks well. so I give it 10/10.

My dashcam kept falling off. The "3m" would practically melt in the sun while my car was parked. These replacements have held up well.
