Brooks Men's Beast '20Running Shoe

Excellent shoe, great support and feel nice to run in.

I bought the men's version of these shoes as the women's colours are horrendous or my chosen size is never available. The black and white are good for wearing daily with different outfits. These are amazing if you have any foot issues. Very supportive and comfortable. They were recommended by a podiatrist for different foot and ankle problems I have. The only downsides are the price. There is no way I could afford to change them as often as I should and the bloody awful colour combinations.

My second pair of Brookes trainers and not a disappointment. So Comfortable and very stylish looking. They really are a durable, worth every penny

These are my fourth pair of Beasts over about 10 years- they totally sorted my shin splints and they've never come back. The design changes, but they still work so well for me. I'm nearly 16 stone.

I had a tendon transferred in my foot 7 years back to replace a ruptured tendon and as such I suffer from over pronation of my ankle, where it rolls in. I've always worn Brooks running shoes but this is my first pair of Beast 20 running shoes. I don't actually do any running but for day to day comfort and walking about, these are super comfortable. They have a really thick supportive sole and the heel is held in place firmly. I went for the Beast as I read that are designed for heavy runners and last longer. They certainly cope with my 6'2" 14 stone frame. I can honestly say at the end of the day, my feet and ankles don't feel tired. Of all the Brooks range I have tried these of the most support. Hopefully is you suffer with flat feet or rolling in ankles you will find this review helpful.

These trainers are fantastic. You feel like you are walking on air. The fit is just right and the quality bus excellent. As a 16 stone, 6ft 2" tall runner, these shoes give great support and comfort. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Brooks Beast to any runner looking for superior cushioning.

I over pronate significantly and without the beast I get hip pain. I’ve used the beast for years and will continue to do so as long as they do their job. Originally I used them as my running shoe, then my walking shoe and now all the time that I don’t need a formal shoe. Great job.

I am flat footed and wanted trainers that prevents overpronating,this shoe delivers.

Las primeras que compro de esta marca. El mismo dia que me llegaron me puse para caminar y lo mejor de todo es que no me las he quitado en toda la tarde. Me resulta mucho mejor para caminar, que otros zapatos planos y sin caída. El motivo es la fascitis plantar que tengo en el pie derecho. Con este zapato lo que he notado hoy, es mucho menos dolor, ya de entrada! Estoy muy contento porque hoy he caminado mas que muchos otros dias!

Review by Bob: I have had several pairs of Beasts since the turn of century due to recommendations from a top-notch running shop for my bad knees (Im not a runner). Having developed some foot issues over those years, I left Beasts for a slightly softer, more neutral shoe. Its been maybe 5-6 years since then and I am back to the Beasts — this time with a vengeance! From the moment I slipped into these 20’s, I knew they were right. I don’t know if its me or the shoes, but I am in love! They support my knees beautifully (both have been replaced), but now the Beasts also cradle and support my feet in a way that can only be described as “gently firm”. VERY supportive, and yet somehow remarkably comfortable as if they were molded specifically for my feet. I hate that shoemakers always change models, so I ordered a second pair asap. Brooks, please keep making this one - you may have just found perfection. PS - Tread is deep and seems lugged almost for trail running. Like all-season tires, they appear perfect for all conditions. PPS - The trim around the foot opening looks and feels extremely well made. Like the rest of shoe, it’s the perfect combination of solidity and softness.

I really love how Brooks has extra wide shoes which I need thanks to my wide feet. I use these for running 5km runs and am very happy with them. The colours here are a unique combination and they look good. Another thing which is kind of small but important to me is that I don’t need to double knot the laces: single knots are enough and they haven’t come undone for me. Other running shoes I’ve had are not as fortunate on that point.

Seit 30 Jahren laufe ich als großer und schwerer Läufer 🏃‍♀️ auf diesem Schuh und seinen Vorgängern. Better then most..
