Charles River Apparel mens Performer Jacket (Regular & Big-tall Sizes)

Absolutely wonderful jacket. Perfect fit for 6 foot tall, 160 pound man. LOVE IT!!!

I took a risk and ordered this model of jacket for my fall jacket.I had tried the Portsmouth model of jacket and I did not like the lining at all. It was too clingy and when I put on the Portsmouth jacket I spent 10 minutes pulling down the back of the jacket and both sleeves.This lining is much better and is smooth so the lining slides over my shirt.One of the sleeves seemed a little short but the seam stretched out after about a week of use and it fits fine. I have an XL size and it fits my 36” sleeve length ok.It has a hood for windy days and wind breaks the northeast fall weather and feels warm enough. It doesn’t feel hot and the rain beads up and it stays dry inside.I liked the navy color the best.

Soft, warm, wind proof, rainproof, and incredibly well made.I was going to save this for camping or rainy days but I could absolutely see myself wearing this all the time. I highly recommend this 100% would buy again.

I'm glad I did my research before purchasing this jacket (The Performer-style 9921) because it paid off! I read so many reviews and compared similar jackets but ultimately I chose this one. It's just like a jacket I bought 22 years ago (still have but it's dying) and I know it will last me. It keeps you so warm that at times I would have to remove it (lately it's been in the 30s here in Southern California). It repells the rain and keeps you very dry. I love the zippers on the outter pockets, won't loose your phone! If I could wish for one thing is a pocket on the inside of the jacket (my old jacket has one).When I removed the jacket from the box it felt heavy but it's not, nor is it a flimsy windbreaker. It is a well made nylon jacket with an inner lining of sweatshirt like fleece material that extends into the sleeves. It has a roomy hood with a drawstring and the bottom hem has elastic for a snug fit.I can understand some reviews about the sleeves and the possibility of reaching/extending your arms and having the sleeves pulling back exposing the bare arms, but the elasticized cuffs really clinches the wrists and if you size right, bare arms are not a problem. For me, the medium size was spot on perfect (I'm 5'3" 135lbs). I was going to purchase a small but so very glad I bought the medium! I really don't like buying clothing online because you never know what you'll get and returns are a hassle, but this purchase was smooth and I could not be happier.

A very comfortable, well-made jacket. I especially appreciate this while walking in wind or light rain.It’s great while working outdoors and when the weather gets cooler in the evening, you’ll love having a hood.

The sleeves are very long, and the pockets barely hold a medium-sized smartphone. It's okay, but I wish the pockets were a bit more roomy.
