I purchased this on the recommendation of a neighbor. I am SO HAPPY, I love that I don't have to look at my compost bin any longer. This is a game changer mounted on the inside of the door in my kitchen. The forward flipping lid is genius, easy to use and super easy to keep clean. It is all plastic and sturdy. The price is good. The size is nice for our needs, we create a lot of compost (about 4 gallons a week) and we only have to change the bag every few days. It is very lightweight so it doesn't stress the cabinet door and the installation options were easy and ideal for our use.

Would recommend without reservation. Well designed and comes with spare parts, too! The glue backing is holding up after four months of warm (80-dgrees). Easy on-off the door to empty contents. Plastic bags a nice add/addition! Also fits produce bags from the grocery store, so win-win!

I have had this for nearly 2 years now and absolutely love it! After trying several other brands with fancy filters and designs that were always smelly and attracted fruit flies we decided to try this because at least it could be mounted on the cabinet door under the sink so the grossness would be out of view. But surprisingly, it is not smelly and doesn’t attract bugs!! The lid seals more securely than others. Very pleased and recommend this to friends so often that I decided to come back to write a review

Quiet nice

It works great. It’s the second one I’ve purchased. I use it in my kitchen to collect the random small garbage I get throughout my day. It always fills up by the end of the day so I transfer the garbage out to a larger bin. It’s very practical, I simply pull the rubber tab to dispose of whatever garbage I need to get rid of, then I slide it back up and I’m done. It’s very easy to use.

We’ve been absolutely LOVING this!!! Was looking for a compost bucket for the kitchen that could handle our 3 person family but not take up counter space & keep everyone happy. Thiss is so amazing!!!! We’ve had it a few mos now- I love it’s multiple options to hang/install. It’s working perfectly as a cabinet attachment and we’ve gotten used to it quickly. It’s out of the way, easy to access, close to our other trash/recycle containers drawer, I love that the lid is multi directional & can be opened 2 diff ways. It’s super easy to keep clean, & has actually been handling containing the odor/smell amazingly!!! Its durable & seems like really great quality too & like it will last a long time. I would def buy again tho if necessary, kind of want to get another just in case we ever need it and can’t find the listing again! I buy the 2.6 gallon green superbio compost bags w handles for easy tying and they’ve been working amazing too! No falling apart w moisture, heavy duty, they fit our receptacle perfectly, easy dispense, bpi certified etc. We empty it as needed, prob every other day or so, but it’s been working like a dream! I looked for a long time for something too, & considered the countertop ones but very happy to have found this ! No problems w bugs /fruit flies either so far!!! (I guess we’ll have to wait & see how we do over the summer tho…)

It’s nice and big , I like that it comes with bag even though it’s only for like two weeks depending on how much you cook . I don’t know how you’re supposed to keep the bag in place and that’s a bit of a problem for me. So if you could figure that out then you’re good

We use it hanging from the cabinet door under the sink for our food waste. Easy to mount with the self-adhesive. No smells leaking out. Really easy to open. One thing that could make it even better is to replace the little pull tab with a small plastic "hook" sticking up, so it only takes one finger to pull open instead of pinching 2 fingers on the pull tab. In case of dirty fingers.
