New!
I installed the ORION Cobalt 2-way component speakers in my 1993 ford ranger, and the difference in sound quality is incredible. The clarity is crystal clear, the highs from the tweeters are sharp without being harsh, and the bass is deep and punchy for a 5.25” setup. Music sounds full and balanced, whether I’m listening to rock, hip-hop, or podcasts. Installation was straightforward—everything I needed was included, and the external passive crossovers make sure the sound is perfectly distributed between the woofers and tweeters. Even if you’re not a pro installer, the process is beginner-friendly with a little patience.

It's Orion
Not bad but their okay. Handles okay, good quality sound. Easy on the pockets.

These sound good and the price was affordable.
I did pair these up with Orion 6x9 coaxial speakers and am running them all off an Orion amp. My only problem is that these don’t hit the midbass like I was hoping for (but that is because of the mounting location not lack of quality in the speaker).

Get what you pay for
Poor sound quality and one of the tweeters cuts in and out. Bought for a spare car but wish I’d have spent just a few dollars more for anything better.

Speaker Size
This product was described to include a 5.25" Midrange/woofer. Amazon did a great job in ordering and shipping. Unfortunately, the description of the item is incorrect. The midrange is actually a 5" Inch driver and not a 5.25". The speaker grill might be that size, but the actual midrange/woofer is 5" in diameter. It makes a difference in installation, replacement, frequency range and efficiency. Do not purchase this if you want an actual 5.25" speaker. The tweeters and cross-overs look fine as described. I will be returning these.

When I was a kid I thought Orion was an awesome brand, so I brought these thinking I might get good sound from a once good brand. Boy was I WRONG stay far away from these speakers. You could go to the junkyard and find stock speakers better then these things. I don't think you can consider them component speakers. More like speakers with an in line filter. I plugged them up before I installed anything, good thing because I would have been upset having to do everything over again. One tweeter didn't work, it had a short in the wire. I didn't even try the second speaker, I had better sound coming from the factory speaker. The 5.25 factory speaker was blown so I did away with the useless crossover (filter) and hooked the speaker direct. It's an alright sounds but nothing to write a great review over. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the 5.25 woofer worked and I decided to install them a posed to shipping them back and looking for something different.
