Gelish Foundation Base Coat Led Gel Polish, 0.3 Oz.

Great, love it!

Gelish is wonderful to use since it works well with different brands. I’ve used this base coat and other prep products by gelish for years and love the quality. If the prep products are solid, the rest comes together well. I’m not a nail tech but I do my friends’ nails frequently enough to go through base coat faster than I would if I were just doing my own nails. For this reason, I think the mini size is best for me. I can use all of the product up right before it expires. If you’re a nail tech, you might want the bigger size. I’ve had to use expired gelish base coat before and the quality/product retention/adhesion was compromised - obviously. So I’d highly recommend this size if you’re in a similar situation to me!:) Works well under just gel polish, gel overlays, or gel extensions in my experience. :)

This gel foundation is thick! I’m used to runnier foundation and might have put too thick of a layer my first time using it. However, my nails still look great a week after applying. I think this will end up being my longest lasting manicure. I live in a dry climate and usually my Polish starts to peel after a week or so. This one is still holding strong. I’ve been doing my own gel Polish for years and have tried a variety of brands. This is my new favorite foundation. I will definitely be repurchasing.

This base coat is one that I have been using for years & it has never failed me. My nails don't peel and every color ends up looking great with it. I personally use 2-3 layers of this before any color & it makes my nails very strong.

So, this product does what it says. Helps prep the nail for following steps (polish, builder gel, whatever). Nails adhere better than without it. Please note, the item picture shows a standard size foundation bottle and label, but i was sent a 'mini' size bottle which is a significantly smaller size than the standard size. So, product misrepresentation. Otherwise a good product, but price is high for the small amount of product.

Honestly you cannot beat Gelish brand!! I’ve tried other brands and my nails would chip within a week or so. NOT GELISH!! There is a reason the professionals use this brand ☺️
