I was a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews saying that the globe did not float, etc., however, that has not been the case for me. I actually found it very easy to float starting with the very first attempt. I used the spacing tool provided the first time but found I didn't even need it after that. If you want the globe to spin, you do have to spin it manually, but it keeps going for quite a while once it is spinning. You have to spin it gently because if you disturb the globe too much, it will stick to the top of the frame and stop floating. The same thing can happen if you jar the unit too much while the globe is floating. I will update this post if anything changes, but based on what I've seen so far, this is a great item.

Bought this for my bosses desk he loved it and everyone in the office loves to mess with it.

For the price, it's easy to look over some of the minute cons that keep this product from being a perfect 10/10. I'll keep this short and sweet Pros: Cheap Looks great Good build quality Great conversation piece Classy, not gimmicky As for cons, there aren't really any huge drawbacks to this. There are, however, a few minor details I would have liked to have seen to make this even better. 1. Ability to turn LEDs off/on 2. Longer cord to plug in 3. Self spinning (maybe a small jet of air from the stand? Just ideas) 4. Turn off specific LEDs instead of all 3 colors constantly on 5. Rubber feet on the base to keep from potential sliding Those small things are the only improvements I can think of for this. And for the price, it's easy to look past them. It's a great purchase, would buy again.

I don't normally write reviews but there are so many contradictory reviews on this one I almost didn't buy it. I am glad I listened to the good reviews. I really like the look of it and I do not find the lights to be too bright. The globe does float and spin if you give it a nudge but it does not spin on its own. I can be challenging to get it to float by placing it yourself but it is a piece of cake if you use the the tool they give you. I would definitely recommend this if you want something different than the standard globe on a base.

I’m not sure I would leave this on 24/7…That’s just me, but I turn it off when I’m away for extended periods of time The Bottom Line: I purchased this because I love gadgets and tend to cycle through a lot of different desk items…Had this on my list and I love it!

I purchased this for my 35 year old son who works in the tax department and has his own office and desk. once he opened this up and got it "going", he loved it and said it would be a conversation piece in his office. And it was easy to "set up". A wonderful gift for older adults.

Purtroppo sono rimasto deluso da questo prodotto. Non viene specificato che la spina è di tipo G (standard britannico), quindi non compatibile con le prese italiane senza adattatore. Inoltre, non è presente alcun interruttore per spegnere il dispositivo: l’unico modo è staccare la spina. Un altro problema è che, se si prova a far ruotare il globo manualmente, tende ad attaccarsi facilmente alla parte superiore della struttura, compromettendo l’effetto di levitazione. L’unico aspetto positivo è la luce LED, che crea un’atmosfera piacevole sulla scrivania. Nel complesso, non lo consiglio se cercate un prodotto funzionale e ben progettato.
