Hands down, the best ice pack have ever used, have gifted it to many people even though they said they had something already and all were shocked how much better this version is. The fabric side is perfect for the first few minutes to get used to the cold before turning it over and using the plastic side. It stays in place so well with the Velcro strap and had made healing much faster for my every broken bone or when in pain. You cannot go wrong and I urge everyone to buy it to have on hand just in case the need arises.

This is pack is SO much better than the smaller ones I had. It is LARGE - covers my whole lower - or upper - back - then can be slid around to cover one side of my body and then the other side. It holds the cold for quite awhile! One proviso - I had a bad fall and can't lift anything heavy - and this bag is quite heavy when frozen. My husband has to cover it with 2 light towels and place it behind my back. The cold comes through just right! ALSO - this large ice pack does not fit in the freezer side of our refrigerator/freezer. We don't want to fold it in half - perfect to keep it flat - so we keep it in our full-sized freezer. Even so, I am VERY happy with this ice pack. It suits my needs and I recommend it highly!

I just had a knee replacement. Although I had a machine to provide cold to the surgical area, this ice pad was by far the most helpful in dealing with the extreme pain. I purchased 3, so that I would be able to interchange them when needed. The smooth plastic side provided the most cold; the other less so. The adjustable strap also allowed me to position it exactly where I needed. Best money I ever spent!

Because I had spinal surgery, comfort was primary- If you can't tolerate the structure or materials, you'll never use it. The pack is beautifully made, strong, and feels great! I can place a towel to lessen the effect, or flip it over from the velour side to make it colder. My only surprise was that it never seems to get as cold as my other pack does, no matter how long it's in the freezer. But, I don't care. I'm using it all the time.

Used for right and left total knee replacement surgeries. Comfortable, easy to use, option of two sides, soft and cold AND firmer and colder. Buy two, keep a backup in the freezer. A visiting guest used them on her lower back. So helpful I sent one so it would be there when she arrived home. A strap helps keep them in place. This product is the best!

these are great ice packs I have 3 now. My husband has back problems so I always have one ready to switch out highly recommend Like the longer size

Very disappointed in this gel pack. It cost more than others, but purchased it because it had straps so I'd be able to move around while having the therapeutic benefits of an icepack. Having multiple herniated discs in my back, I have been using ice packs for relief for the past 5 years. I have several types of gel packs, some better than others, but this one was at the bottom of my list to use because it didn't cool as well as most of my other gel packs. But the worst part, it started leaking gel out the side after just a few months. I have two others I still use daily that I got when I had shoulder surgery in 2008 and they're still in good shape. Unfortunately it was past the return window, so I basically spent the money for nothing.

I bought these for recovering from hip replacement surgery. I had two in my freezer at home and two in my freezer at work. They're great!

Love this product. Great for hip iiceing. Strap a little short . Would like the option of a longer strap.

I love the soft fabric on one side, super soft. Comes with a plastic Ziploc bag to put it in the freezer, keeps it clean and from absorbing oders from the freezer. Nice size.
