So even though we live in Florida and grow many varieties of tropical fruits, citrus has never been on our list. It’s easier to get it at the grocery store. But being a big fan of Key Lime pie, we bought a Key Lime tree this spring and the little bugger thrived in the pot and produced about three dozen limes.Given the timing of fruiting, we started a new Thanksgiving tradition among the dessert pies; Key Lime pie! And THE KEY WEST KEY LIME PIE COOKBOOK is just what we needed. It’s an amazing collection of old and new recipes for fillings, crusts and toppings, many of which you would never have thought of, as well as some history and tips and tricks everyone should know when making a Key Lime pie. If you like Key Lime pie and want to create your own special version, you simply MUST get this book!

Includes a nice history lesson about Key lime pie, and a little info about the Florida Keys too. Authentic recipes, and some suggestions for some wacky takes on this classic. The best part is Sloan encourages you to experiment, and find that perfect mix of ingredients to create your own "one of a kind" Key lime pie. The book is written in a pleasant conversational tone, with some light humor. In the last month or so, I have become obsessed with Key lime pie. I needed this book! Nice to know there are others out there like me ;)

Good gift idea

Love the many variations of Key Lime Pie! I am eating and tasting while reading the recipes!

Was under the impression this would be signed by the author. Very disappointed it wasn’t

Great cookbook

Lots of combinations, clearly laid out, allows you to place your own individual style on your Key Lime Pie.

The book is just a combination of copied recipes. It is a mess. Certainly not worth the price. I am returning this book.
