Worth the Cost -- Easy to Install & Looks Great!
Thankfully have not needed to use the fire extinguisher. But the peace of mind of knowing it's there in my classic car, and won't cause more damage to interior, paint, or electronics if I do need to use it (as compared to using a traditional chemical agent extinguisher), is worth the expense. The Extreme Duty mount works exactly as advertising. It's easy to attach to the seat-mounted bracket, and easy to access. I have mine mounted behind the driver seat. Nobody is ever in the rear seat, it's easy to access, and maintains a clean look.

Strong, sturdy, perfect fit for off-road rig fire extinguisher.
Great quality and rigid/sturdy. Definitely a snug fit and took a little finesse to get the bolts to line up perfectly on then extinguisher tank, but once it’s set it’s a permanent solution

Functional and cool
Functions exactly as you'd imagine. Well designed, went together properly with fire extinguishers and seat base bracket.

Not recommended for Wranglers!
If you are looking to mount this bracket on the stock Jeep Wrangler (cage) tubes, you will be sorely disappointed. The base of the bracket is flat, so you can imagine if you try to mount on a round bar. Not a good idea. It may break when placing clamps around it to secure it. After installing the flat base on the bar, I had a hell of a time trying to insert the securing pin in place. After spending more time than I care to admit, I figured that the reason the pin would not go in was because of uneven pressure between the top and bottom (3" Squirrely brand) clamps, probably due to the padding of the tube/bar. I should have looked at the Drake unit. There is also another brand I saw on Amazon which stated specifically mounting on Jeeps. I recommend you look into those if you need a mount for this purpose. Buyer beware. It is a good quality product, for the right application.

No mounting hardware included. Poor instructions. Appears durable and functional.
There is no included mounting hardware, so you have to supply your own system for attaching the bracket to your vehicle/wall/whatever. The instructions are confusing, in that "Right" and "Left" are used without a frame of reference; a 5/32" hex wrench and later a 4mm hex wrench are specified for use (yes, I know they're basically the same, but pick one name and use that for clarity); and the illustrations show contradictory ways to install the pin retention chain. Finally, there is an annoying design flaw in that the ribs on the ""Nylon Bracket Back" (aka NBB) are too close together, making it challenging to tighten the 1/4" nuts. It's not all bad. Once you get through all that, and buy yourself some mounting hardware, you've got a sturdy, apparently-durable, and presumably easy to access fire extinguisher mount. But for the price, it should be better, and it should include some hardware, especially because it's designed for use with their own brand of extinguisher that already comes with a mounting bracket!
