Needed for iPad Pro.
I had carpel tunnel problems and the iPad was too heavy to hold in a better position. This is an excellent product, well made but it is heavy if you carry it from room to room.

good if tablet is over 7"
Don't bother using for a 7" tablet even though it says you can in the description. small tablet wont lock in and it wont even hold it...Works well for a 10" tablet.

Too many design flaws \ beware of review jacking
Not impressed. The stand has a good powder coated finish but it’s ruined by lack of attention to detail. Why are there so many unused screw holes in the stand? Why does the lid of the iPad cover swing down and damage the paint on the stand? Why is the locking mechanism so cheap on such an expensive product? In addition, part of my locking mechanism was just totally missing so I can’t actually close the iPad cover or lock it. This is decent manufacturing quality and LAZY product design. Amateurish and not at all worth the money.BEWARE: Many of the reviews for this product are for a completely different product with a narrow pole stand. This review is for the stand with the wide, flat front base. These unscrupulous sellers are substituting a new product onto an existing account with positive reviews.
