excellent product
This was a gift for my husband, who is a gourmand, and is very picky about his balsamic vinegar - he is in love with it and asked me to buy him more once the bottle is empty.

Balsamic vinegar in a bottle
I do a lot of cooking in my kitchen. Balsamic vinegar is a staple in my pantry and this bottle came at the perfect time as I ran out of the one I usual purchase. This balsamic taste delicious. It’s the appropriate thickness and flavor is on point. I like the bottle and how easy it is to handle and pour out of. I use balsamic vinegar to make salad dressings and also balsamic glaze. I have no complaints about this product and would recommend it to other foodies around in the market for a new balsamic vinegar, you won’t be disappointed.

Inexpensive condiment vinegar
This is a sweet condiment vinegar with a lot of grape flavor and only a mild acidity so it works well in sweet desserts, drizzled over fruit, or as an ingredient in glazes and sauces. It's fine for what it is, but the description and price both are very misleading. This is simply an inexpensive condiment or dressing vinegar, not an aged Traditional Vinegar of Modena DOP. Yes, the company produces that kind of vinegar, but this is not that kind of vinegar. Yes, the barrels may be three years old, but this vinegar is not aged for three years.

Great tastes
I am a BV fanatic. When this bottle arrived, I was surprised that it was much smaller than the bottles I usually buy. However, I quickly learned why it is so small. This is top quality BV. It tastes great, very flavorful, you can tell it has been aged and is not the standard shelf variety. I highly recommend this brand!

Nice balsamic vinegar
This comes very nicely packaged and the bottle is really lovely as well. The vinegar isn't fabulous though. It has a sweet flavor to hit and I do actually like it, but it doesn't have the consistency of other expensive balsamic vinegars that I've had before. It's a bit thin and kind of has a strong acidic taste, more so than I'm used to. Perhaps my expectations were too high, due to the ad stating that it was aged in 3 year old barrels and somehow I thought that meant it had been aged for three years in barrels. But evidently the barrels are 3 years old and the vinegar just passes through them? I'm not sure. Either way, it is nice enough.

complex flavor
The aging seems to give it some mellow notes, but it still has the sourness you expect. Either the aging process or the product itself has a more complex flavor profile that I'm really excited about. It's really good stuff.

3 year old barrel scam
The vinegar is far from thick and sweet. But most offended at the stupid suggestion that this was aged in three year old barrels. Not sure it was aged at all. Just put into a 3 year old barrel. So I feel misled.

Alcohol taste
This has an alcohol taste to it that I have never experienced with a Balsamic vinegar. Almost like they cut it with vodka. Not sure if I got a bad bottle (it was sealed) or if this is the intended taste. But, in my opinion this is no good.

Sehr gut schmeckender, fruchtiger Balsamico-Essig

Yuck
I was quizzical about the statement of the age of the barrels rather than how long the product had been sitting in the barrels. There was no issue getting the seal off (sadly). Poured out a sample to compare to the regular balsamic I use (cheaper, older, but by no means what I wish I could afford). This one is tan and smells strongly of vinegar. My regular is closer to tar in colour and has no overpowering vinegar aroma. I’d have chucked it out straight away, but my other half wants to save it for pasta salad vinaigrette.
