Duxtop Professional Stainless Steel Induction Cookware Set Impact-bonded Technology 10-Piece Set

These work fantastic with my new induction stove. They heat evenly, and fast, and can hold their heat for a long time after the burner is turned off. Glass lids fit securely, and the colander works great for draining pasta.*update 9/14/19So the lids are glass, and I dropped one, breaking it. I contacted the company to find out how to purchase another one, and after a few emails to confirm which lid I broke, they sent me one for free! Super fast too, came in 2 days. Great product and great support after the purchase.

This functions well on my induction cooktop, but it "hums" noticeably on higher settings. The cooktop is a Bosch (which had the highest product rating when I bought it in January 2016), in case that matters. I have no information as to whether the cookware is any quieter on other induction appliances. Fortunately, induction cooktops don't require use of the highest settings for very long because they heat the food rapidly, and during the major portion of cooking time on low settings the "hum" is soft, so I've gotten used to it. Turn on the TV in the kitchen and you won't notice it except on the highest settings. (And if you're not using induction, it won't hum!) It is nice cookware, and so far it's been easy to clean.

WOW...what a bang for your buck. I am thrilled with this set. Sturdy, thick surface for heat conduction on bottoms, ergonomic handles, beautiful finish inside. Have used several times now since delivery and could not be happier. As far as I can see this will probably last me for DECADES. Read many reviews and shopped around Amazon for days before settling on this set. FORGET paying upwards of 300 dollars for some fancy schmancy name and colors. These stainless/aluminum items are awesome. One of my favorite features is the way all the lids fit down insides the pots and pans...no more hissing and spitting as moisture leaks out and onto your stove, GREAT on clean up too...could NOT be happier!

Thanks to the many reviews I was able to study on Amazon, I have ended up with excellent, well-balanced stainless steel pots and pans that have the magnetic properties suitable for my new Induction cooktop. When I began looking for cookware to replace some of mine that would not work on an Induction cooktop, I had never heard of Duxtop Professional Stainless Steel Cookware. While I needed Induction friendly cookware, this cookware can be used on any type of stove...smooth or coil electric or gas... as well as Induction due to having a 'sandwich' on the bottom that adds the necessary magnetic feature needed to cook on Induction. Duxtop seems to come in various grades and cost levels based on what is offered on Amazon. This set I ordered is not the highest cost, so I suppose I could be further impressed if I'd spent more $$. I've used every pot, some more than once. They cook well and clean up well, either hand washing or in my Bosch dishwasher on the bottom rack. I questioned my sanity for buying the deep stock pot with the big strainer basket (or steamer or fryer basket) as well as a smaller one that fit inside the pot. After using it, I feel very smart and can see many ways to use it...pasta, deep frying, steaming, simplying straining or draining. Just a word of warning...be sure to NOT overfill the pot with liquid when using the insert baskets or you'll get a boil over...which I did, but caught it early and then removed some of the liquid. ALSO, those nice lids....they fit well to encourage steam inside the pot, but they also do have an 'air hole' that helps vent excess steam to some extent. I like the lids, but they do not prevent a boil over.

I replaced a set of pans I had for almost 20 years with these. They are very sturdy. The handles are riveted and stay cool to the touch. They clean up like a dream. I gave also noticed that they seem to heat up more quickly and evenly. I would have given 5 stars except that when you boil pasta, they seem to be left with a permanent discoloration in the bottom of the pan.

I recently had to replace my cooktop and chose to go with Induction rather than my original electric. A major part of that choice was finding the PERFECT set or reasonably priced induction pans and I definitely found what I was looking for! This set is made beautifully, high quality AND have the glass lids which I prefer so that I can easily keep on eye on what I am cooking. Reasonably priced at $149 ! Make sure when you are looking at these different sets that it clearly states "glass lids" as I noticed a few other of the same brand which do not have that feature!Marvelous find and I LOVE my induction cooktop and cookware!

This set is heavy, heats evenly and quickly, not hard to maintain, and the strainer and steamer inserts are awesome. We've cooked pasta, rice, quinoa, and yes even RAMEN, and everything has come out fine. I don't understand the bad reviews because of burning food. That's a cook issue, not the cookware.Overall very happy and forward to years and years with this set.I paid full price for this item and this is an honest review, just in case you were wondering.

This cookware is amazing. --It is for Induction cooktops and Stoves -- I learned about this brand from a friend and am very happy with this cookware. The pots are sturdy, evenly weighted and the handles are substantial. The glass-top lids are also very well made and fit snugly on each pan. So far cooking is even on all of the pans. My previous cookware was a collection of Cuisinart and Kitchen-aid and cast iron -- the Duxtop equals and we'll see, it may even surpass the other two brands over time.
