These are a very good hook for sockeye salmon.
We used these hooks this year on the Kenia River for sockeye salmon. These are sharp, strong, reliable hooks. I’ll use them again next year.

These are my absolute favorite hooks for inshore fishing in So. California. Hook the mouth, not the gut. Catch and release easily. They really do work as advertised!

Strong hook
These hooks are great. Very strong for their size which is important when fishing for bluefin. Can't go wrong with Gamakatsu hooks. I use only circle hooks and these have done very well. Actually converted a long time J hook fisherman to circle hooks after trying these Gamakatsu hooks.
