This product is a solution for me, because I have an errant property management company that does not allow for installing curtain rod holders with nails or anything for that matter. The product comes in a very cute and well manufactured tiny (maximized space) box, and the holders are real plastic. Though I eschew the use and buying of plastic products, the adhesive is probably much more reliable on a plastic rather than a ceramic surface. For me, I took a transparent ruler - 12 inches, and measured from the outer corner of the bath cover (hate it). I placed the ruler from the ceiling and aligned it with the outer corner of the bath cover. I placed it as far up as possible which is in fact 12 inches from the bathroom ceiling.I don't want the shower curtain to hang down many inches.The holders are really cute. I hope they will work. I am not placing anything on that curtain rod other than the shower curtain.Lastly, the shower curtain rod is a "tension" curtain rod - and it fails. It comes with nails and nail holders but for those who might shy from altering a wall, the adhesive on the holder will work.

Yay! No more bumps on the head !!! Theses brackets work great. Easy to install and they are holding the curtain rod in place.

After just buying a new tension shower rod, it kept falling down no matter what I tried. I did not want to return it and get a permanent one, so I found this. It does the trick, holds well, and no fear of it falling and hurting someone. I just wish it was less bulky looking, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I bought one of those twist adjustable shower curtain rods and it worked great. Until it didn't. Then I had a rod that would not longer stay up and I was constantly trying to twist and readjust. Then I got to thinking - what I really needed was some sort of bracket. It took a minute to find these but the hunt was well worth it. These brackets fit that twist rod perfectly. That rod has those rubber tips on the end that are about an inch long or so. They just drop right into this bracket. Perfect. The bracket itself is very sturdy and not at all difficult to install. You can stick them to the wall -they have adhesive backing or you can use the toggle bolts and screw them in. I used the screws. After I installed these I have not thought about them anymore. No more shower curtain falling while you're bathing. No more adjusting - these are fantastic.

In all of my life I never had a problem with a tension rod… until this past year. The one I bought for my bathtub curtain just kept falling. I bought it a year ago and eventually it stayed in place without hanging anything on it and then it started falling again, multiple times in a day. I looked at replacing the rod but the options in white where slim and reviews were not promising… and I saw these gilder picture in a positive rod review so I decided to get these.My primary interest was to hold up the rod I already purchased. My secondary interest was adhesive. Since I live in a rental I am trying to limit wall holes so I thought this would be perfect. But the adhesive is not sticky! I tried to really push down for a long time, like with command hooks, to get it to stick and it just would not even. Less 1 star.So I got permission to screw it into the wall but, I have to buy all new hardware. The hardware that comes with the the mounts are 4 screws and 4 plastic wall anchors. The wall anchors will not work since the wall is plaster over sheet rock (veneer.) less 1 star.I cannot attest to durability since I still have to get the new hardware but I imagine that once it is screwed into the wall it should hold up fine. The ends of the rod fit snuggly in the mounts cradle so I am really hopeful.
