Fine for the price
Overall this is a fun, relatively simple playset that goes well with the 4" Spin Master Batman and DC figures. For around $40 it seems like a reasonable price for what you get. However, if the price were any higher, I'd have reservations. On the whole it has the sort of quality one would expect of an action figure playset, so here, I'll just list my issues with it. 1. Committed some sticker "sins". Some of the stickers are intended to be placed where sculpted details are and they are larger than the sculpted details they go over. Two stickers don't go on until two pieces are snapped together. However, the pieces don't fit perfectly flush and there is give. So the sticker could rip or get a bit squished as those pieces flex together or apart. Some of the stickers that fit in recesses are almost the exact size of the recesses. I would strongly recommend putting all the faux window stickers on before assembly. 2. The instructions have errors in how the steps are labeled. The first page has them labeled sections 1, 2, then 3. The second page has them labeled 1, 1, and 2. The third has them labeled 3, 2, 1 which reverses the labels on the sections called 1 and 3 on the first page. It didn't affect my assembly process, but I could see kids or inexperienced adults getting confused. 3. The bottom most section is smaller than the others and is rather hollow. This is meant to park the Batmobile on and is fine. Except, given how the bottom section is assembled from multiple pieces, I worry about it warping over the long term if left standing upright, mostly from the weight of the upper sections. 4. The packaging is a little misleading as it makes it look like you can just take the set apart to have three separate play areas, but it isn't designed to do that. Once it is assembled, the pieces snap into place and aren't meant to be taken apart. Minor Nitpicks: -The Batman and Joker graffiti stickers make sense. But do Killer Croc and Clayface have gangs/fans that would go around spray-painting their names onto walls? I left these ones off. -Batman could use a chair for the Batcomputer. -They should have given you some trash items or Joker bombs or really just anything to put in the dumpster for the play feature where it tips over and dumps out. If you made it this far, I've really just been nitpicking this whole time. It's a great playset if under $50, especially since a nice version of Batman is included with the set. Also, I have yet to put in batteries and check the electronic features. It's possible there is a wow factor there that would really blow kids away. As it is, this overgrown kid has yet been too lazy to buy his own batteries.

Batman for the win
Very much great kids Batman toy. Not hard to assemble and then place all stickers. It does break away to 3 separate levels if your little one doesn’t enjoy the full stack. Can create hours of fun with some imagination. The bat light even serves as a night light for my little guy.

Doubles as a super hero place house
This product is wonderfully durable and sturdy with lots of fun details like Batman’s gold accessory holder, an amazing elevator, ladders, sound affects and much more. The lair can be separated into 3 separate homes which is very cool if you have more super hero figures and wanted them to have separate hangouts. My 10 year old son loves it but even my 12 year old sits and play with it with him. The set up was also very easy and the biggest part was the stickers. The details really make the lair that much more fun. I highly recommend it to any super hero lovers.

Very happy birthday boy
He asked for Batman’s house. We had never seen anything that was considered as any type of housing for Batman before. Well I should have figured that there was something in the “doll house ” category . What an excited boy when this was unwrapped. He really loves playing with this . It is not as big as the girls doll houses or castles and it could be a little more sturdier, but for the money it’s not bad. Grandson was happy and that is what matters.

AWESOME Bat Cave w/Blue & Grey Batman
This was delivered very quickly. Packed well which protected the outside box of the Bat Cave which is nice since I got this as a collectible. I love the original Blue & Grey (pre-1989 looking) Batman it came with. Really beautiful piece to have in my collection. Highly recommended especially if your a collector. For $32 this was a fantastic deal. Enjoy!

Fun but has some issues
Thought it was cool, my 4 yr old son did too BUT a pain to put together and seems to come apart VERY easily with everyday play. I would not buy again and I may be adding some hot glue to keep it together which annoys me because it wasn’t super cheap

Kind of shoddy product, good customer service
I hated putting this together. I've put together tons of toys in my life, for myself and my kid, and this is the first time I have really, really not enjoyed it. This thing is complicated enough, and the instructions inscrutable enough that the manufacturer had to create a video tutorial to supplement, and even that moves borderline too fast to follow. The plastic is bendy, not in a good way, and relies on cardboard pieces for added dimension (though to be fair, they are about as sturdy as the plastic bits). It's supposed to click together and stay, but everything is kind of gummy and you really have to press and hold, and hope it eventually does. Otherwise the sections come apart every time you lift it. The buttons (really it's one button that can be pressed from either side) for the Batsignal and Computer are clearly supposed to be spring toggles, but they only catch I'd say one out of every ten tries, if you press hard, wiggle, and pray. Otherwise you need to keep your finger on them for the lights to stay on (that's harder than it sounds after about ten seconds or so). I would not be surprised if the catch eventually stops working altogether. Mine was missing a part and got two of another. When I wrote to the manufacturer I had to respond to a series of redundant questionnaires and emails, but they did make it right, and I had the part in a little over a week. Unfortunately they sent me that part by sending me an entirely new Batcave. My kid doesn't need a second one, and I don't really feel right giving something to a kid knowing it's missing a piece, but I'll have to figure something out or it'll be a lot of plastic waste. I feel like there should have been a greener way to fix the situation, but they did do it, and quickly at that, so points there. All of this said, from my first grader's perspective this is the raddest thing in the history of the world, and none of the above matters, because he hasn't put it down since he got it for his birthday last week. So make your choice accordingly.

This toy is relatively easy to assemble and was a big hit with our six year old on Christmas morning. He has honestly played with it quite a bit (we bought extra 4” figurines to extend the play). However it is not super sturdy and there are a couple components that are actually made out of cardboard (side scenes that attach to the plastic). Also the top large sticker of Gotham City skyline is falling off after only a couple weeks. It doesn’t seem to be nearly sticky enough. I do wish they made better quality toys!
