Ken Oliver Color Burst Powder 6/Pkg-Brights

These are fun to use and to watch as the colors bloom when sprayed with water. Watched You tube videos for inspiration. Looking forward to using them for making cards.They are highly pigmented and a tiny amount goes a long way. Did some backgrounds for stamped leaves and butterflies.The colors were vibrant.

Ken Oliver watercolors are my new go-to watercolor powders! The colors are beautiful & vibrant. I mask my paper with stencils, sprinkle the smallest amount of color & spritz with water and voila! a watercolor paper, with the design & colors that I need for my project. I also enjoy using the powder because I can mix the colors I want. I do suggest that you go easy with the bottles when pouring the powder out. If you squeeze too hard, you will end up with TONS of powder that you do not need. A little goes a long way!

These color bursts are so fun to use! Easy, variety, all kinds of ways to work with them, do a YouTube search for ideas. I use them to make backgrounds and such for greeting cards.

Very Interesting! These are quite the fun, playful approach to getting watercolor effects. I imagine older children would have a blast with these. They seem permanent unless reactived with water, however the packaging lists no light fast rating or archival info, or pigments used. So that means these are probably dye based, not pigment, ( meaning it will fade over time and uv exposure) However I plan to find out, I made a few swatch pages for outside and will be doing some light fast testing.

We have had so much fun using this product. It makes the most amazing background paper and is so fun to use.Just make sure you wear gloves when you are using it because it really does stain your fingers when you pick up the paper and move it around,Will definitely purchase the other colors!!

This was my first introduction to this product. I’ve had lots of fun with it. The colors are beautiful. I’ve been using it to make backgrounds for cards and die cuts.

These are beautiful and the colors POP! A little goes a long way, this can be used on a scrapbook page a journal, or on a card, a little bit goes a long way. They can even be added into embossing paste , so many uses. even in glue. Really any thing wet.

Very disappointed that the color I needed the most, yellow, seems to be in dried out chunks and will not come out of the bottle. Since there is no way of opening the bottle with out cutting it open, I am at a loss. Unfortunately, since this is was sold as a set, I do not think I can get the yellow replaced.

Wonderful bright colours. As I am using mine to die pages for junk journals, the colour bursts are perfect. Definitely the effect I am after.

These are so fun, had a hard time finding them at the Craft stores in my city. I think I will order the other color collections off amazon. If you are into watercolor they are worth trying for sure.
