The neat thing here is that when you get 6, you can open one up and practice with it or demonstrate how to use it. so that during an emergency, you're not trying to read fine-print directions. I don't believe there's anything magical or special about items like this. They're meant to put pressure on a wound. You are responsible for using it correctly (and hopefully having appropriate supporting material like gauze, antiseptic, etc.) These units are easy to use, offer appropriate (and adjustable) amounts of tension, and are long enough to use even on large areas.

These are widely recognized as essential emergency trauma devices. We got them to keep in our car and also have a couple on hand at home. Lots of on-line videos on how to use them also. Again, hoping not to need, but have it in case.

This is good value, but I wish that the clip was not super cheap plastic, and I would prefer to have the elastic with more elasticity. In a pinch this is still an effective product, as the clip is not a necessity when compression is the goal. Pull it tight and secure it another way if needed.

Looks like a good quality product. Won't know until I have a situation to use them.

I will carry these in my vehicles. They are similar to an Army field dressing. Stop the bleeding and secure the wound is paramount in an emergency. Having some of these available can be lifesaving.

Important item for all First Aid kits. Hopefully you’ll never need it, but if you do it could save a life.
