Good camera...does just what I was looking for

I’ve owed several dashcams and this is the best one I've had for ease of use and design engineering. This would get a “5” except that the instructions are nonexistent. So, if you've never owned a dascam before this could be a challenge to figure out all the functions. If you go to the manufacturer’s website it is all in Chinese.ProsSetup is fast and easy.Small package, with big screen and easy to access buttons.Buttons are very intuitive in the absence of instructions.Unit is small and lightweight.Power is delivered via a USB cable that is much less hassle than a thicker cable with a cigarette lighter plug.The power cable is generously long and can be snaked through the dashboard. (I don’t want wires hanging all over the dashboard)Full 1080p HD video looks great.ConsAs mentioned, the website is in Chinese, Minimal English directions are mostly useless.Whatever you do, DO NOT hit the button for “factory reset” everything turns to Chinese text!

I have been unable to determine whether this thing works or not since there is no way to mount the camera to the suction unit. It looks as if a part or something is missing.I tried to contact the seller, and I'm not able to do so. No phone number that I could find, and every time I tried to "click on" a link, I've been sent to their seller profile. No contact information. I must be doing something wrong, buy after screwing with it for over a half-hour, I'm fed up with the whole thing. Sellers should be required to provide at least some type of contact information. Exasperated, I'm trying to contact them this way. If they are a good seller, perhaps they will contact me.Besides, this thing looks cheap. It's plasticy body and holder looks like it would break if you looked at it wrong.Forty-eight bucks for this thing is a lot. Even so, it might be worth it if it were usable.

Package arrived with no issues except that it was received with the wrong windshield mount and one of the USB cables was defective.For the budget price point, I considered the X2 to be a decent dash cam with a clear smooth video picture. HOWEVER, once the temperature got up to 90 degrees in my area, the dash cam's video became annoyingly BLURRED and unusable for any real recognition purposes. It therefore cannot be relied upon for legal purposes during the summer months. I will therefore be looking for a different cam to be my go-to daily use cam.

This affordable DVR car dash is pretty good quality. The video is very good. The only down side is there is no directions. What little info they give was translated into broken English. But if you are good at scrolling through all the menus you should be able to figure it out. Hint: keep the G sensor off. It triggers to easy even on low sensitivity. Then your Mem gets filled up. If you want it to loop forever keep G sensor Off. 32 gig SD gets you over 3 hours. In 10 min increments is how I have mine set up. The videos drop off FIFO. I recommend it it you don't mind figuring out how to use it without directions.

Received this item on June 28th 2016 period on July 29th 2016 it's cessed to work properly. It will no longer record 3,5 or 10 minute videos. It will only record 9 second videos and the playback quality is crap. Not worth 50 bucks if it's going to break down two months later.

have not watched videos recorded on a television yet but I feel a bit better driving now that I will have proof on my side because insurance companies are not on yours.
