i've used a Helios [German made] for 35 years and it is quality, with never a problem. i've been looking at the digital s for several years and decided to try the QFun. have had it only several days, so cannot vouch for the longevity, however i'm very impressed with the quality. some have lowered their rating due to the color. it is a BEAUTIFUL instrument, with the light blue and yellow color adding to the value for me. mine came with a pretty good instruction manual, so the manufacturer must have been reading the reviews here and have added the manual. i'm an amateur gunsmith.....this constitutes 90% of my use of a caliper. the price was right, at approx $30. you won't go wrong with this instrument.

This is the third time I've purchased this exact digital caliper because it works so well! I keep one at my 9-5 job, another at my office desk for when I'm using CAD software, and one more out in my workshop. It's consistently reliable and provides precise measurements, which is essential for my work and projects. The build quality is solid, and it has held up well in different environments. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an auto-off function to save battery life (only reason for 4 stars), so you have to remember to turn it off manually. Despite that, it's an excellent tool for the price and one I highly recommend for anyone needing accurate and dependable measurements.

I've used this primarily in my hobby for several months now. It is smooth to operate and results are repeatable. The screen is large and easy to read. The function buttons have some "feel" to them which make them easy to use. I like that it shuts down automatically in a few minutes when not in use. Someone mentioned that it seemed heavier than other calipers he had used. I think it has a solid feel and have no problem with the extra weight, if there is any. The case is plastic and the latches may not last forever but I find it easier to just leave it on a convenient shelf ready to use. I have not changed the battery yet so am unable to comment on that operation. All in all, I'm pleased with this caliper and would buy it again. If I was going to use this professionally, I'd buy a Starrett or Mitutoyo but for the rest of us this will do the job.

I was looking for some nice digital caliper and was wary of cheaper ones because of previous experience with other cheap digital calipers. When I saw the video of the calipers returning to 0 accurately, I was sold. I got exactly what they advertised - the calipers work exactly as you'd hope. The case isn't wonderful. Sure, it is tough, but it isn't easy to open and the accessories just fall out when you do. But I bought these calipers for the calipers, not the box it came in. I like that they turn on when you open the calipers. The battery is also a larger one, so I have some hope that it will last longer than my previous digital calipers that used a smaller battery. Every time I use these, I'm happy I bought them.
