Just what the Doctor ordered
I have a condition where I dislocateing and subluxation are common unfortunately the hospital slings are not great at immobilising as I need and the strap was unfortunately. So after I feel in the shower and dislocated my right shoulder I ordered this and couldn't be happier, to start with its light weight it can be used for BOTH left and right so save money there, no strap across the waist, it completely supports and immobalises your arm so little to no movement it doesn't have the ring for your thumb to go but your hand and arm are fully supported. The only down size is your hand gets hot not much of a down fall if you ask me. Its great quality for money and the fact you can buy the size to fit you makes it so much nicer to wear also it isn't ugly looks smart so if you have to wear one for work or a special occasion it won't stand out like a sore thumb or shoulder in my case 😄 also it's comfortable to sleep in.

Immobilised my arm / shoulder and is comfortable.
I have a dislocated shoulder and fractured hummerus with all associated nerve and muscle damage. After leaving hospital I was instructed to keep the top of my arm at my side and forearm strapped against my tummy. That was difficult in the hospital issued slings as one was sponge and the other thick non stretch cotton that just kept slipping and my arm moved and ached. Especially as it was pressing on the swelling and bruising. After research I am glad that I chose this. It was immediate relief and comfortable to wear. It is soft and only lightly padded so no pressure applied to sore areas. And it doesn’t move even in bed!! I did find it more comfortable securing the Velcro of the immobiliser strap behind on the side of my palm rather than on the front as in step 4 of the instructions. I have had 2 medical professionals impressed when I have been to appointments. I have been wearing this solidly for 5 weeks and it is still holding well. I have sponge cleaned it. The straps fit so that your shoulders do not carry the weight of your arm. No negatives from me.

Supports the arm well and is adjustable
This is a pretty decent product. I am a bit larger and was worried that it wouldn't fit but I actually have plenty of room for it to go around my body. It provides really good support for the arm and the part going around your shoulder is nice and comfortable. I like the fact that you can adjust it so I can choose how immobilised my arm should be depending on how it's feeling that day. The only downfall is the other strap that goes around your waist, because I am a bit bigger it sometimes digs in a little and I have to adjust it, so it would have been nice if that part had padding as well. But overall a good product and if you need something to keep your arm in place this will do the trick.

Great, after we worked it out
So so comfortable. But took my husband and I ages to figure it out. I need it for my left arm and it’s confusing as the video appears to be showing use on the left arm but it’s a mirror image and really in their right arm! Now the sling does work on both arms but the Velcro fastens the other was and not as easy for left arm. It does take a while to get it on as the Velcro stickers to everything it shouldn’t. But once on - it’s been a God send, so comfortable and because it has a strap that goes round your back it doesn’t hurt my shoulders and that is a big concern for me as I’m riddled with Osteoarthritis and my shoulders can be very painful. Would definitely recommend

Top quality sling.Keeps the arm very secure.
This sling is a top quality product. Its best feature is that it prevents any movement swing away from the body and keeps the arm firmly secured to the upper torso which exactly what is needed for a fractured collar bone. The wide strap that makes wearing it a comfortable experience. It does take a little time to understand how it goes together but like anything but if you take a few minutes to examine it you will work it out.

Comfy but only has one position
The material is comfy and breathable, the straps are padded and avoid the neck which is a big bonus as most pull on the neck, this one doesn't. No very adjustable, only seems to be one position, can't elevate elbow position and the strap across the arm near the elbow is half as long as it needs to be. But it's good enough for now.

Much better than the freebe from the NHS
This is a very good sling. It was recommended by my physio over the free one I had from the NHS. I am recovering from a very severe broken shoulder and needed something in the early weeks that would allow me to rest but also get back into activity. One of the benefits of this sling is that it holds my arm to my body via a waste strap, the Velcro is top notch and immensely strong. In addition it spreads the weight of my arm across my back rather than over my shoulder. It has enabled me to get back into cardio work with confidence. The only niggles are that the straps can tangle and operating one armed it can become difficult to get it on. The other part is that i have big arms from my gym work and that means that the over arm stabiliser strap does not really work but in my case I did not need it.
