Good choice
on my car are Brembo brakes, but the discs needed replacing on doing this taking them off The two holding bolts One of them sheared off on both sides leaving the bolts inside and no way to get them out I did manage to drill them out one by one that was the hard bit so I decided to drill out the bolt hole because the threads had shredded so I bought this Q thread repair kit this is the easy part, drilled out the new holes rethreaded replace with Helecoil kit instructions was easy to follow you cannot go wrong replaced everything replace with new bolts and torx up the new bolts with no issues 👍 Job done Great value.

Repair of a stripped thread
The kit was used to repair my broken trolley jack. It worked perfectly. The inserts are 10mm so I had to remove a couple of coils with a hacksaw - very easy - because the drilled out and tapped hole was not quite that deep. Excellent value and a very high quality product.

Makes for a strong reliable repair.
Did a repair with this kit, and also did test on a spare piece of aluminium to see how much torque it could handle and it far surpassed that of a standard thread in aluminium.
