Good quality, but beware of hole position
These are nicely formed hinges, well finished, and were well packaged to protect from damage. However, be aware that there are two different standards of hole position for these hinges. These hinges have holes in a zig-zag pattern and the holes closest to the edge are 7/16" (.4375) from the edge. There are others available on Amazon that also have a zig-zag pattern, but the holes near the edge are 3/8" (.375) from the edge. I don't know who the genius was that came up with two different hole spacings that are just 1/16" different, but it really caused me a lot of problems when I attempted to use these (with 7/16" edge spacing) to replace the original hinges (that had 3/8" edge spacing).

Great strong spring loaded door closure
These are awesome! We had an indoor cat that would sneak out if we forgot to close door tightly. These have great, great spring loaded closing. Amazing how strong the closing pull is( it’s adjustable, we went with 4, the strongest setting) we are delighted!

Bought for: A utility room. What I liked: Solid, heavy-duty hinges that close smoothly without slamming. Installation was straightforward and the finish looks clean and modern. What could be better: A second tension rod would be handy, but not necessary. Overall: Works exactly as advertised — very good quality hinges.
